Another scam

Another scam. My wife paid some money a while ago and they rang and threatened her that she had to pay the 'balance of what she'd agreed to' - £203.95 - and that she was bound by a legal contract.

I suggested not paying and looked it up to find similar dodgy reviews.

Same scam as everyone else

Same scam as everyone else has reported. Called out of the blue to "thank me for my support" and to pay the invoice for the anti-bullying books I'd apparently agreed to back in October. I told her I had no recollection of any such agreement. She then offered me a £30 discount as they 'wanted to clear space in the office'. That rang alarm bells - so I googled and found this

Educational Training Support SCAM

Anti Bullying Primary schools book campaign . . .
Called out of the blue to say thank you for offering to support them, having never spoken before. They were insistent that we spoke before and we had agreed sponsorship . . we'd rejected the ongoing deal, but accepted the one off campaign - which we hadn't.
Asked where the e-mail/papaer agreement to this was - and she said it was over the phone only - and would send me the transcript as they record all calls for training and monitoring purposes . . . I wonder if she will or if they even do??
Checked companies house and the business has £1 in assets. Clearly just a shell company to prop up their scam.

AVOID

AVOID. They called to thank me for supporting their campaign and wanted to send a booklet; at the time I thought it was a local school i had previously supported but then recieved an invoice through the post for what I do not know. Will report and ignore.

Beware

Beware! They phoned saying that it is a free service that they are offering - all for the good of children's wellbeing. Then you suddenly receive an invoice for £349.00. Do not touch!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Our business was contacted around 2 years ago. We were asked if we would like to pay for some antibullying leaflets, to be given out to the local primary school, to which we agreed. Last year we were contacted again saying we owed money, despite us explaining we had only agreed to this as a one off, but we were told we had to pay it. Unfortunately last year we fell for this and paid the money. We are now being hounded again with calls asking us to pay more money. Last year we were very clear that we never agreed to this and asked to be taken off their database. We even have an email from them to confirm this. This time we will not be falling for it. Company claims they will be taking 'legal' action against us. This is a post to try and warn other potention victims.
