Me and my partner are planning to move out together for the first time so we don't have much knowledge on the process of moving, I spoke to Zach today on the phone and unlike other agencies who told me our date is unrealistic and kind of hung up; he very kindly explained the process and the best way to move forward. Thank you Zach, I really appreciated it.

Rented through this company for 2 years. Another rent increase has been added which now makes the rent ridiculous, especially since the property does not even have modern windows and doors. I understand that maybe it is the property owner who is extorting us instead of Edward knights, however, the poor review is due to the shocking and terrible customer service I have received. I queried this rent increase as soon as I had the letter from them a month ago. They replied at first, now I have been waiting 3 weeks for a response about the rental increase. The cost of living in this country is going up, I now have another £100 every month to pay out and this company does not even have the courtesy to reply to my queries and discuss it with me. Really poor, this letting agency clearly do not care about their tenants, only money.

Excellent service through our house sale and purchase.
Mark kept us up to date at all times and dealt with a few difficult situations ( through no fault of his own ) extremely well. I would highly recommend this company. We got the result we wanted.

We have just bought a house through Edward Knight but more importantly Mark Chapman, always on hand, answering out of hours and when he was on holiday!! Only estate agent we met over the course of a year who actually sells benefits and positives of a property rather than just shows you round. Cannot fault this guy, second to none! Thank you Mark!

1 star is generous! We are currently renting a property through Edward Knight Rugby, I’m sure they do not have it in their books out of the goodness of their hearts. I’m pretty sure they take a fee. However, the place is damp and mouldy with various issues which we want logged. Unfortunately we are stuck here for a while but have asked Edward Knight to visit to take a look. Their response ‘contact the landlord’.

Andreea, was a literal real world superhero, she went way above the call of duty, shipping my things abroad, she was patient, and kind and even executed on several errands at her own cost, not used to this level of awesomeness, thank you so much she deserves the best.

I had no idea what to expect, coming from the U.S. I met Terry Dainty by chance and was very pleased with the help he offered, so I chose him as my agent to represent me. We e-mailed Edward Knight via Rightmove and after 2 days have had zero acknowledgement or contact from them to arrange a viewing of the property we were interested in.
I find this to be a growing 'industry standard' amongst estate agents and the lack of qualifying any interest is widespread.
We have a property valued in excess of 500k to list and personally I wouldn't trust this company with selling ice to eskimos!!

We sold our property through Edward Knight and found them to be excellent. We dealt largely with Terry, who was superb. We had 4 different estate agents come to value the property and whereas other agents wanted to know our opinion before offering a value, Terry immediately and confidently stated what he felt its value was. This gave us confidence that he knew the market very well. As soon as we committed to Edward Knight they were very quick to sort out all the photos and get the property advertised. Viewings were largely done on Saturdays and all carried out by Terry, which we were pleased about as he seemed so genuinely positive and enthusiastic about the house. After a couple of weeks we had 2 good offers. Once we had accepted an offer Terry continued to be very proactive, keeping in touch and helping with any issues eg in relation to the survey/solicitor. We would 100% recommend Edward Knight and will certainly use them again ourselves when we next choose to move. Not only was their service excellent, but they had the lowest commission out of the 4 agents that valued our property.

I was impressed by the high ethical standards upheld by the Edward Knight estate agent we worked with when we sold one then bought another house recently. It would be so easy to slip into Boris type behaviour it seems to me but the agent was completely straight with us throughout both deals. Added to that he was kind, hard working and meticulous in following through on any task to be undertaken.

Edward Knight Estate Agents have been absolutely fantastic throughout our house sale. Terry has been the perfect Estate Agent ensuring he kept us updated and communicated with us throughout the whole process. He has gone above and beyond his job to get things done and take any stress away from us to allow a smooth easy sale. Edward Knight Estate Agents have been fantastic for the sale of our property and purchase of our new home. The sale as had many challenges and Pauls advice throughout has been invaluable. Would highly recommend based on their great communication and experience from start to completion.

Called to view a property within a couple hours of it appearing on the website. The lady on the phone sounded like she couldn’t care less and said she’d call back to arrange a viewing. Never received a call back so chased and was told the same thing. Then received an email 2 weeks later saying the property was under application. We were never told this at the beginning and we were the ones doing the chasing and wasting our own time. Awful customer service, clear lack of knowledge and no willingness to communicate. Will be avoiding at all costs.

Jemil has been fantastic in pushing through our sale. He has been very responsive and helpful.

I requested to view a property which was marketed for sale. This agency had only published one external photo in their marketing of the property. On my initial call I was told they would try and book a viewing for the following day and I should await a call back. The next morning they called to say they weren't doing physical viewings, only web calls (rolls eyes). I asked if they could send a video instead so I could watch it more than once. I waited a few days and the video never arrived. When I chased the agency again, they said that they had halted the marketing due to offers being reviewed.

It was like trying to turn the titanic dealing with this agency. They didn't keep me in the loop and gave me inaccurate information multiple times. They didn't accept any responsibility for their poor service and just kept pinning the blame on the current tenant who was currently living in the property.

I wouldn't have this company market my property. Only one external photo and not allowing physical viewings. That is just shoddy. Really poor and unprofessional service in my experience.

Extremely rude man answered the phone when I tried to book a viewing. As I was currently renting a flat, I was told that I shouldn’t be wasting his time asking for viewings if I couldn’t afford the property I wanted to view. I had actually returned from a long term ex pat posting in Asia so I could easily afford the property outright, if he had actually bothered asking, rather than make prejudiced assumptions about people

It has been challenging selling and buying during the year of the pandemic! EK made time to understand my unique circumstances. They took care to find the right buyer for my unique home. They were proactive and worked above and beyond the call to deal with issues that arose. They are excellent communicators. I am so pleased. Thank you Paul and all at EK.

Had a bad experience from Edward knights Rugby. I wanted to take a house for rent. After viewing i was happy with the house and agreed to take it.

I was given an application form and they asked all my details including bank statements and payslips which none of other agents asked.

After submitting all these i was waiting for their confirmation on the house and get the contract signed, then comes the bad news.... the landlord is not happy to let the house to me as i have a child.....really? When i saw the house these guys didnt told anything. When i confirmed the house after 3 days they kept silent and after 10 days when i asked them about the status, they gave this reason..

Now i can see the same house for rent in rightmove with £25 less than what i finalised earlier.

Never ever recommend to anyone i know..worst agents I've ever came across. Due to these guys i lost around 10 days which costed me time and money.

Thank you for the reply. I just have only one request for edward knights. Please have agood knowledge about the property which you are letting to avoid last minute surprises like what happened to me. I dont want to insult any agency or any person. This is the reflection of what I've been through and the time and money loss because of you.

I’ve bought or sold four properties through Edward Knight and have always found them to be professional and focussed on getting to completion.

Having also dealt with several other local agents Edward Knight are my first option when I have a choice.

Terry and Jemil made it all happen. Edward Knight exceeded my expectations on both the sale and the purchase of my house and will definitely use them again.
