Can’t compare to a true Smithfield ham, but pretty tasty and not too salty, so my wife, who usually won’t eat country ham because of saltiness, will eat this one. I’d order it again.

We love this ham! We use what we can for Thanksgiving and then slice the rest and put it in small bags and put them in the freezer for later!

Great ham! Tastes just like the ones we would get in Smithfield. Grew up eating them when they were true Virginia hams and it was a ferry ride from Jamestown to get to them. Only negative is finding out they are made in Kentucky and not true Virginia hams anymore. I’ll still order again but now only the Wigwam will do.

It was perfect - the flavor was rich and bold as a ham aged for many months should be. It is very difficult to find a ham like this anymore. And it was so easy to slice very thin since it was boneless.

If you like country ham and prosciutto you will like wigwam as well . Best way to describe it it’s a cross of both with an emphasis more on the country ham side.

We usually order a larger bone in wigwam ham. We seem to recall greater, more intense flavor from a bone in ham. That being said, the smaller boneless ham is easier to carve and deal with. The hm was tasty, just not as flavorful as we recall.
