Best school ever!! Such an amazing experience

I was going to Valencia to a Language School there and decided for EF kinda "last second" but for me it was definitely the right decision, Barcelona as a city just hits diferent and the school staff really makes sure you have a good time!

The courtyard is so beautiful. The people were great. Only amazing things to say.

I joined their exchange program mainly because the price was low. Unfortunately, the homestay experience was very disappointing.

It was a homestay with three students. It felt like the host family was relying entirely on our payments to support their own children. I didn’t get enough to eat most days. On top of that, they asked me to stay home and babysit their kids instead of going out.

When I raised these issues with the program staff, they didn’t take it seriously or offer any real help. In the end, I had to pay out of my own pocket to switch to a different homestay.

Cheap price isn’t worth it if basic needs aren’t met, and being treated like free childcare is unacceptable. Would not recommend unless they completely overhaul their homestay standards and student support.

It was total immersion in French language and culture. As a beginner, it was difficult to understand (in class) what the exercises were or what the questions were. As an older student (mid 60’s) I did not like how all the professors insisted that we state our age in front of the class - in fact, it started to make me angry and self-conscious-this happened in every class.

Also, I didn’t really like the continuous intake, where first time students ( like me) are joining classes that have already been in progress for a week or more.

I did appreciate the extra cultural activities outside of class and some were included in the fee.

Overall it was a very good experience.

My teacher was absolutely amazing!!! Nice is beautiful and there is so much to do and see! Loved the entire experience! I highly recommend EF especially for adults 50+! The warm welcome and joy of just being in Nice was exceptional!

The staff is amazing and makes u feel at home & all the schools are in great neighbourhoods!

The teachers were really good. Some of them struggled a little with dicipline in class. An extra pluss and nice experience were the excursions for 50+. My spanish improved, but I should have stayed longer.
Great location. Easy to travel from Garbi to school. Enjoyed the mixture in ages, being in the same class with young people.
Garbi was ok. Lots of noise due to ongoing construction work. Not your fault.

The staff were friendly and helped me with anything I needed, the teachers were amazing and very patient, the accommodations that were made were good and I enjoyed my host family, and the activities director did an awesome job at planning the outings. Overall, I had a such great time with Tokyo EF and I wish to come back in the future.

It was a awesome time. I met many friends and nice people. Thank you for this opportunity.

Try to teach more multiculturalism in your classes. Because people come from different backgrounds but they don’t sometimes understand the otherness of others. I am Canadian which is why I could notice this. I am not complaining about it but still I felt you should be explain how important it is in Canada.

The team was incredible, the teachers and staff were always kind, supportive, and professional, and the activities and programs were simply fantastic. Every day was full of fun, new experiences, and unforgettable memories.

A special thank you to Nico, Moni, and Vale — they are truly the best! They always organized the most amazing programs and made everyone feel welcome and included.

This experience gave me so much more than just improving my Spanish. I also had the opportunity to discover Spanish and Catalan culture in a very authentic way, and most importantly, I made lifelong friends from all around the world. I am truly grateful to everyone who made this journey so special.

I feel so lucky that fate brought me together with some of the kindest and most wonderful people I have ever met.

Succesfull stay for me. I would probably travel again with EF.

I met lot of people here. It was really good because I could learn some new culture and improve my English.

The main bad point of my trip is the family accommodation. The family don't care about you, they don't speak with you, you must asked every day if you want to eat and you leave in very bad condition. You must choose carefully your house family's

The staff is amazing, everyone is really nice and helping (James is the best teacher ever, give him a raise asap!!). The school is also beautiful, we have everything we possible need, it’s a comfortable and safe space. However the residence is terrible, the rooms are dirty, small, the kitchen is awful witch makes it really hard to cook…
