EGR roll cover?…..run a mile!!!

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of EGR roll covers. Such a disappointment. The experience started off with the cover being delayed for months, …then the installers damaged the car during install. Cover has leaked water since new and now the controller has gone haywire and just randomly opens by itself. Have been pursing a warranty repair. Took them 6mths for their first crack, which didn’t fix anything. Now waiting for round 2. They are no longer responding to correspondence and I’m stuck with ute tray I can’t store anything in. It’s now up near 9mths of hassling these guys. I’m now looking at court orders to get them to respond….what a joke

Horrible service

I purchased the EGR V3 electric roll top cover to keep my tools secure for my Chevy 1500 ZR2. The top was installed with Opposite Lock in Wodonga in Victoria and the job appeared to be completed well. Looks Amazing on my ute. However, from day one it not only didn’t lock the lid that it also left my tailgate unlocked. As I was working in Melbourne, I felt very vulnerable to not have my vehicle locked. It’s been back twice to be repaired apparently needs some sort of new control solenoid which EGR refused to send in a timely manor. It’s 5 months now and the part has just turned up apparently. The Ute was in at opposite lock in mid December. EGR said that they would send the part as soon as possible by 10 January 2025. I thought this is getting a joke now so I rang EGR direct. I was told the state manager who was to organise the part. Was on holidays and they promised me that they would get another state manager to get onto it and send the part. It’s February now I had this installed in August. The company service and back up is a joke. I would not recommend this Product as there is no backup and support. Also, the back of my tailgate on top is all scuffed from the lid opening and closing which I assume is an installation issue. Lift your game each EGR

Good product design but was for the…

Good product design but was for the wrong model car mine was 2019 1st generation model and small front flare was for later models.

These guys really know their product…

These guys really know their product inside an out and gave me really good advice on needed parts etc for my vehicle. The Sales team was also quick to get me a quote and the goods were ordered and delivered. Delivery was free too that was a bonus. So great service to back what I think is an amazing product line

very poor customer service

very poor customer service . I ordered an expensive part that was initially wrong. was told basically nothing they could do about swapping it out for the correct part. didn't want to work with me in any way shape or form . I was willing to pay any extra shipping etc . They say they have dealers all around australia then why can't they deal with swapping expensive parts back that are still brand new . pretty much scamming customers with very lame excuses like it is now 2nd hand cause you opened the box .

Egr do not have after sales service…

Bought our 2020 ranger second hand with egr canopy already on it, it leaked badly, but can’t find where it’s coming from. Got some professional to check it out. They sealed up some leaks around the rhino rails…but still leaking. Never had any problems with the arb on our last bt50 which was 9 years old. Would not recommend egr - no service or anyone from the company that is able to help in any shape or form.
