I actually found someone great on eharmony. I had signed up for a year subscription and even though I cancelled my account I was still responsible to pay my monthly fee. When I had a financial crisis this month due to unexpected loss of income and asked for them to consider forgiving the last four payments, there was no empathy shown and I am on the hook to pay them back.

Either the people on this site are extremely limited to choose from or something is wrong with their selection process. I'm searching across Canada 40-60 year olds, active, non-smoker, no kids and I'm getting smokers with 5 kids! Terrible site don't waste your money.

eHarmony tries to match you with people you would be suited to. Not like some other sites I have seen.

STAY AWAY. Extortion organization. They 'do not have a monthly plan' and will charge you upfront for a year. If you do not pay, they will send it to collections. The amount will increase arbitrarily with each email, each attempt. It is literally an extortion business now. Do not support them, do not sign up for their service.

Check the Better Business Bureau for more details; there was even a class action lawsuit against them in 2023, which can be found easily on google.

Absolutely appalling sales tactics need to secure several months of purchase promising loads of connections and best in class matchmaking services. You sign up, there no one… literally 2-4 profiles per weeks what a scam. Stay away unless you want to lose money and have them threaten you with no possibility of opting out, thieves oor quality and despicable.

I’ve been out of the country for 6 weeks and was so disappointed I could not log into eharmony.

This company is nothing but a money grab. There moto "Get who gets you" should be "We'll get your money no matter what you get". Just try and stop that stupid automatic renewal in Canada. Your told to mail them a letter!!? 3 weeks later It came back return to sender. Luckily I cancelled my Visa just in time. Cause they tried to hit it for $622.40 for a another year. Crap!

Yeah, the app is kinda expensive 😅 but other than that, it’s actually pretty good.

I believe you have an extensive questionnaire, which allows for a deep understanding of someone's personality and is also a very good tool for meeting honest people.

There are many great matches that are very close to what I like and the app is easy to work with- even for me as a Senior Lady. You’re quick to find frauds too, thanks for protecting us. I hope to find my Best Match soon!!

This is the worst dating site imaginable. The matches are in a different province or country despite the profile set to within 50km distance. Another problem are matches with a complete different economic background. I am not interested in someone who earns considerably less than I earn - I believe there should be an equal financial playing field.

A waste of my money to join, but thank I’m only paying for the minimum 6 month.

I’m dislike that your site says basic free. I can’t even see if there is anyone even fuzzy pictures in my area. How can I spend 200 or 300 or more if the site doesnt even let people understand how it works and they can’t even see anyone. Owen Watts
