A fabulous experience, from seamless ordering to a timely delivery. The team was easy to contact for an address switch and customer experience was great. The cake tasted delicious and arrived beautifully.

The Chocolate Guinness cake is outstanding. The Sunshine Cake is a very refreshing take on the classic carrot cake. These guys know what they’re doing.

The Brownie:
My partner and I shared a brownie from these folks a year or so ago, as part of a free promotion.

Between the slight bite/chew of the crunchy exterior, the moist fudgy inside & the mini eggs scattered throughout, we agreed it was probably the perfect brownie. Made even more notable by the fact it came through our letterbox in Mid-Wales, all the way from London.

We have since treated ourselves on a few occasions, as well as using them for easy birthday presents, made even better by their absolutely stunning packaging. The quality is reliably up to their high standards. Our only wish is that they would do vegan brownies with regular flour, rather than combining vegan & gluten free. (but I suspect the combination makes sense for their business)

The Kindness:
Last week, we were asked to provide dessert at an unexpected family funeral. I reached out to the bakery via their website at just before closing time.

The next day 12 brownies were baked and in the post first thing, and Royal Mail popped them through our door the next morning.

The Conclusion:
EK Bakery is not cheap, but they are 100% worth the cost, and in my view a small company that is worth supporting.

Everything was first class. A mistake on my part in the message I was sending was quickly and happily amended. Tracked delivery was perfect and the brownies themselves were thoroughly enjoyed by the recipient. I will certainly be using EK again.

Love everything about EK’s deliveries - have used a few times now and always spot on. Of course the bakes are delicious but beyond that the packing is gorgeous, love the personal touches available and it’s so easy and efficient to order. And everyone loves receiving these, it’s the best post.

Ordering was easy although I noticed afterwards I had failed to complete the address. I sent an email and had a prompt response to say this had been rectified. My friend was delighted with the order which arrived on time, and also with the beautiful packaging and card. Many thanks!

Apart from the amazing coconut brownies, which arrived fresh and well packaged, the communication and quick delivery was very good.

The team at EK made the most amazing Guinness chocolate cake for my friend’s birthday, and excellent customer service :)
