I had a very similar experience with the person whose teeth were heavily shaved down. I originally booked in with this place due to their advertising of ‘minimal prep veneers’ and went in with the treatment. She mentioned that she will shave a bit of the teeth but as I said, because they mention minimal prep veneers constantly on their page, I naturally thought that’s what this clinic specialises in. As the other comment also said, I was not informed how much it would be shaved down and they gave me the same excuse of ‘cavities’. I had my temporary’s fitted on so I had no idea of how much damage was done to my teeth (excessive shaving) until, that same day I was at a restaurant and suddenly something fell out of my mouth. I looked in the mirror to see my teeth look so tiny. I then called them and they said that they will give me new temporary’s however they also fell off again the same day.

I would say I have never been the same mentally since that day and this still has a toll on me. I have been struggling mentally for years now due to my experience with this clinic. It’s almost like trauma, I was crying for weeks. Not once did they tell me, are you sure you would like to go ahead with such invasive treatment at the age of 21. Still until this day I have been struggling mentally to a point where I’m now going to therapy and taking anti depressants because all I can think of is the problems that I will have to live through, throughout the rest of my life.

Besides this horrible experience, the veneers do look nice and natural but if I could sell an organ to go back to that day I absolutely would and I would have never gone to a clinic that cares more about money rather than preserving healthy teeth.

I travelled from Canada for dental services with Ekis Dental Clinic and had an awful experience. They had my review deleted from Google, claiming they couldn't find records of me being a patient, which is a lie. I have records.

⚠️The orthodontist’s assistant was purposely wiping off my makeup and laughing hysterically about it, not realizing I understood what she was saying.

⚠️They then pretended that they were closing, forcing me to wait outside for my driver. It was humiliating and unprofessional.

⚠️The braces were unnecessarily extended to the back, causing damage to my gums from the wiring.

Ekiz Dental Clinic is a top clinic. The entire team was extremely kind and professional. I am very satisfied, especially with the consultation – you feel truly well taken care of. The facilities are modern and exceptionally clean, and appointments were always punctual. The team takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions, which creates a great sense of trust. I can wholeheartedly recommend Ekiz Dental Clinic to anyone looking for high-quality dental care in a warm and professional environment.

I traveled to this clinic to get my top teeth done for an agreed price of $4,500 in whatsapp. However, once I arrived, they told me I couldn’t do just the top teeth—I was forced to do both the top and bottom, a total of 24 teeth. They also added extra procedures and demanded $11,000, refusing to proceed unless I paid and do all teeths. In the end, I wasted money traveling there for nothing. Their attitude was terrible, and they treated us like nothing more than cash cows to exploit.

This clinic is really a game-changer, unlike other clinics, offers the most conservative treatment methods and avoids creating fake, gum-like teeth. In this regard, I believe it's one of the best clinics you can visit. I had a full set of veneers done, and I am very happy with the result.

The vaneers are low quality. I had to get one replaced 6 months after getting them done. Now more are becoming lose. Also Dr. Ezgi Ayar damaged 2 of my molars when she shaved down my teeth for a bridge. She was rude and arrogant. It has been the most expensive and pain for experience of my life.

I had a nightmare at experience at Ekiz Dental clinic in Istanbul. I went there to have my minimal prep veneers replaced, but the dentist Ezgi Ayar aggressively removed my veneers by shaveing down my teeth in the process. I was utterly shocked by the state of my teeth afterward. When I questioned them about this, the director, Omer Ekiz, and the dentist claimed they had shaved my teeth because I had cavities. However, at no point during the procedure did the dentist stop to identify any cavities to me. Also it is not standard practice to shave teeth because of cavities. My teeth were in perfect health prior going there. It seemed like an unnecessarily aggressive approach to removing my veneers.

The temporary veneers were not even properly fitted. They didn't align correctly in my mouth, and the dentist didn't bother to check anything, such as my bite or the fit or make any adjustments. She just stuck them in my mouth and that was it

The experience left me traumatized and in severe discomfort for three days after the veneers were removed. I informed Ekiz that I didn't want to continue with the treatment, as I had lost confidence in the dentist. I returned to my home country to have my teeeth examined and fixed by a professional.

Despite all this, Ekiz charged me over £2000 and refused to refund any of my money. If you're considering getting veneers at Ekiz, be aware that there's no technical consultation involved in designing the veneers. The dentist simply shows you some Instagram pictures and asks you which ones you prefer. If you dislike the veneers on the fitting day, you're still charged for the veneers, and there's no option to change them without incurring additional costs.

Going to Ekiz Clinic for what I assumed would be a straightforward procedure turned out to be a significant mistake, but deciding not to continue my treatment with them was the best choice I ever made.

Before visiting Ekiz Dental Clinic, my teeth were in excellent condition with no underlying dental issues, and there is no evidence to suggest I had cavities or other problems. Therefore, your response contains inaccurate and misleading information. It is not standard practice to address dental issues without identifying them and informing the patient, and it is certainly not normal practice to aggressively alter/shave teeth without obtaining the patient's consent. Your explanation does not make sense.

I was charged regardless of the damage caused to my teeth. I give five days notice of my intention to discontinue treatment due to severe pain. I was still had to pay £2,000 for few hours dental work. Ekiz informed me that they had already started making the veneers, so I had to pay, which was particularly odd since it was a weekend and I informed them Monday morning.

The most concerning aspect is that, despite experiencing severe pain and discomfort, I had to return to my home country to have my teeth examined and treated by a professional dentist. Ekiz Dental Clinic has shown no compassion or empathy for my situation. Not even one word. Any professional reputable dentist would have shown concern for a patient's well-being.

It's quite odd and concerning that the reviews following my review completely contradict my experience at Ekiz. What does that tell you about the credibility of their reviews? I've reported these reviews to Trustpilot.

Update: I recently completed my veneers treatment with a professional dentist. Who confirmed that the previous dentist had excessively shaved my teeth. Prior to visiting Ekiz Dental, my teeth were in perfect health, and I had never experienced toothache. However, after the procedure at Ekiz, I now suffer from severe toothache and sensitivity. I advise anyone to carefully consider the risks before choosing Ekiz Dental. To date, they have not shown any concern for the issues caused. Their primary focus seems to be on financial gain, rather than patient care

Please learn from my experience, if you have a procedure done at Ekiz and they damage your teeth or if you are unhappy with the results, they do not care. Also, make sure you have the resources to pay for the treatment to be fixed by a professional.

Wow! I can’t explain how much I recommend Ekiz clinic! The office and staff is very clean and Nihal was extremely helpful throughout the process! The doctors are very very knowledgeable and have a light hand which made every step super easy and pain free. The process for the veneers were seamless! The doctors and staff here re incredibly honest and gave the best smile design for me. My teeth look amazing and I am so happy thank you Ekiz Clinic for ny life changing smile!
