I like that it just takes my streams…

I like that it just takes my streams and cuts them into pretty good clips. But sometimes it'll just cut random clips that aren't very interesting, which isn't very common. The one thing I wish would improve is its auto-editor. I don't even use it because usually what it generates is pretty bad and random. But aside from that, it's a great resource overall.

The only thing I would change is and your doing goid

The only thing I would change is when you do live clipping, and it posts it for you and needs to post it in your shorts on YouTube, not your long form other than that, everything works well, maybe find some Uncopyrighted music every time I try to use it , I have to change it in youtube

Can be better

It’s a cool tool, and at first it would clip every kill in a game for me and it made uploading very easy to tik tok for high kill game. For example a 20 kill game in warzone it will only clip 10 or 11 and it won’t even show the game winning kills. I found myself having to record game play and going to edit on a different platform. If you fix this issue I will change rating to a 5

Great app, Arc Clips could be better

Great app! I love the clipping aspect for COD and the AI edits are super efficient when the ideas aren’t flowing. Also, I've been on Arc Raiders since the beta and when you guys incorporated ARC to your system. However, as a streamer, the clipping with ARC isn’t the best. For PvE players, amazing. They can clip themselves killing arc. But for PvP players we only get to clip knockouts which defeats the whole gunfire. I’d love to see a focus on the actual gunfights that lead to a knockdown. We can still clip knockouts as it’s necessary for clips but being able to automate the clipping of actual kills would be SUPER elite from what the clipping for Arc Raiders offers at the moment. Overall super cool app and definitely one of the best out there.

Eklipse has the potential to be great

Eklipse has the potential to be great! It does amazing at scheduling, However there are quite a few issues with editing and clip farming that holds Eklipse back, mainly with the AI. Let's start with clip farming. 20 clips for a 2 hour stream would be enough if all 20 clips were useable, unfortunately when the AI clip farming only captures 5-10 useable clips it's disheartening especially when theirs a really funny stream that could easily have 20 usable clips. Maybe have the AI look for moments of extended laughter or screaming for "jump scares" just to give a couple ideas. Either make it better at farming clips or give us more then 20 to clips, that way we can find more useable clips. Also streams longer then 2 hours should have more clips. It really should be 10 clips per hour(if they are good clips.) That leads me to the voice command. Voice command works ok, but at times it doesn't pick up a "clip it" or "clip that". Maybe turning up the sensitivity to search for those voice commands could help. Onto AI edits. The AI edits are bad. Most times they don't pick up cameras properly, and the "Funny" or "Witty" clips that it makes usually don't work because either the meme it chooses isn't appropriate for this clip or the timing is way off. It's so bad I don't even bother with the AI edit cause I have to fix it anyway so I end up just editing it on my own from the start. Leads me to the editing feature of Eklipse. First off NOT offering auto caption or captions in general on mobile is absolutely insane. Can't fix an AI edits subtitles on mobile because we I go in to edit the AI edit the subtitles disappear. Another reason I don't use AI edit. My point being, being that it went based. The mobile version should have the same features and abilities that the desktop version has. I only use mobile to check my stream schedule cause I literally can't use it for anything else. It would be nice if I could work or finish a project on the mobile version that I start on desktop or vice versa, but even with the same log in. Its as if the mobile and desktop versions are completely different programs. As for the edits on desktop there are a lot of issues. Now I do understand that Eklipse is advertised as a clip generator and clip scheduler not so much a clip editor but I believe if your AI clips don't get better that you should at least fix the editing tools to make it easier to fix/do edits. First off I love the custom templates for videos it saves alot if time. Secondly I love the green screen memes, for internet clips/Tiktoks it's much needed. There's also a pretty decent amount of audio effects and video transitions that make it easy to edit. Now I do wish we could upload our own audio and visuals (that weren't apart of a stream) like branded logos and graphics, different memes, and ect. Also for being Tiktok focused, the fact that there is now "Follow on TikTok" banner to add to videos and there's only YouTube, Facebook, ect is also crazy. Now a big bug in the editing portion of Eklipse that is quite annoying is Auto Captioning. The auto captions ONLY works on a full clip, where as most editing software works on your project timeline. In my entire editing life, I've never seen a program caption anything but the timeline of the project. If I make a few edits of a 90 sec clip and end up with a finished 15 sec clip there should be NO reason why the auto captions captures the full original 90 second clip and not the 15 timeline of the project I'm working on. It especially makes it difficult when I'm combining clips and the auto caption only works on one clip and not multiple. THIS is a huge issue/bug that needs to be fixed in my opinion because in today's day and age custom captions are key in videos, and the convenience of adding them easily is essential! I shouldn't have to add subtitles first then as I'm editing make sure my substitles move along with my edits so I don't lose them.
For a platform that advertises convenience (AI farming, edits, scheduling) you don't make it very convenient and honestly I hope you take all of my feedback to heart, because if you don't, once other AI clipping/softwares and companies so perfecting and catching up then you will fall behind and won't be able to catch up. Ai is in its infancy but if you don't stay up to date and fix in my opinions the easy software issues that have nothing to do with AI then. Like I said Eklipse has potential to be great, but if more bugs start being created and not enough fixes or updates I will be looking for a new software for my teams content.

The company used to be amazing

The company used to be amazing. High quality clips and high quality edits. It took less than 5 minutes to get a well made edited clip from the software. The price was also incredibly reasonable. For 12.99 you could process up to streams up to twelve hours long each, with at least 3 stream uploads allowed per day. Now it's 24.99 and you can only process 3 streams per day TOTALLING 12 hours. And if you go over by so much as a second you get nothing. Now the clips are mostly of NOTHING and it gets labeled as "emotional moment" and nothing else. If your phone black screens while it's processing your edited clips, well forget you even had an edit in the works cause now the app just says oh sorry nothing to see here. Customer service has become non-existent. I used this company for years, now I'm desperately seeking a new company to work with because of how terrible this company and its program has become.

AI needs fixed

I like that it’s minimal work, and the option to have it done by a human creator. But a lot of the time when the AI does it, the overlay is bad and I have to edit myself anyway. Or it repeats the same memes for the whole video, or the meme isn’t cut and trimmed enough and cuts into the next scene to where you can’t even see your next elimination.

You buy this at your own risk

You buy this at your own risk. The product is bad and the client service even worse. I have been trying for the last month to access a project to create a short. There are other apps. Rather use them. But should you decide to waste your money, good luck.

Too expensive just to see if your going to like it or not

So when I downloaded this app, I thought it was a free app, but as soon as I download it, and it gave me some clips just for me to look at the clips that it did for me I have to buy the premium if I don’t buy the premium I won’t be able to see the clips if it’s more than two hours, I need to have a premium if I wait more than 20 minutes to look at the try to look at the clip I need the premium and it takes 20 minutes after you stop streaming for it to pop up on eclipse so it’s a loose loose no matter what I won’t be able to see my clips so if I end up buying a premium which is $249.99 for one year $$139.99 for six months and $39.99 for one month that’s only for your first buy after that 1 year is over $500 6 months is over $300 1 month is $49.99 that is crazy not even a test run to see if you’re gonna like it or not not even a test run to see if it’s a scam or not

I’ve had an extremely disappointing…

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Eklipse.gg. Streams often don’t get processed at all, and when they do, the clips look terrible and mess up the quality. I’ve run into constant freezes and issues, and there are just too many problems to justify using it. My year-long subscription ends on March 1st this year, and I will not be renewing.

Support is basically non-existent; it can take weeks just to get someone to read a message. On top of that, they run Discord giveaways for low-end mics and webcams, but to enter you have to leave a positive review on the site, which feels manipulative and misleading.

After paying for a full year that feels wasted, I strongly recommend staying away from Eklipse.gg. In my experience, it’s not worth the money, time, or frustration.
