A reputation management company with a reputation problem
eKomi is a company that supposedly helps improve the reputation of its clients, yet ironically, it has an incredibly bad reputation when it comes to managing its own customer relationships.
Our experience with eKomi has been extremely disappointing, to the point that we feel compelled to share our frustrations publicly. We encountered several issues that have severely undermined our trust in their service.
First and foremost, the automatic renewal of the service without any prior notice felt deceptive and lacking in transparency. We found ourselves with a renewed service without any advance communication, which was highly frustrating. Despite our attempts to contact the support team to resolve these issues, our requests were largely ignored. After November, we received no further responses from Rens Malherbe, and Luigi Lemme also stopped communicating with us. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and shows a profound lack of respect for customers.
To make matters worse, we experienced a price increase for the service from €89.00 to €93.45 per month starting in February 2024, again without any prior notice. This change occurred in violation of legal terms and further aggravated our dissatisfaction.
As if all this weren't enough, eKomi also decided to send a debt collection agency after us for the payment of invoices, despite the fact that our complaints were never adequately addressed. This aggressive approach only serves to further damage the already poor reputation of the company.
In light of these experiences, we are deeply dissatisfied with the service and customer management provided by eKomi. We are considering all available options to protect our interests.
