Read if you have Wix and want Elavon credit card gate way
Wix has them as credit card provider and so does Costco and they use costcos brand and name to advertise also. After i signed up with them, provided all information including my costco information which they said is necessary to open the account and they said they do work with wix and their gateway does. I was told they are not compatible, why in the world wix has them on, costco contracts with a company to get their member information, they have it on their youtube page that they are compatible and their gateway works. I am extremely upset that they retained my personal and business information under false pretenses. I will be filing a complaint with Wix and Costco. I would recommend Wix and Costco distance themself from such companies that give them a bad name and gain their customers information.

She was very patient even while i was frustrated trying to reset my device. it took a long time because we didnt know about the internet problem…nothing stopped her. she was kind, patient and we didn’t stop until i got the terminal reset. she is a keeper.

I've had 4 terrible instances with this company
1. They never ask you to change your password before you are ready to make a transaction. In other words, a customer is trying to check out, and you can't proceed with the transaction because they want you to come up with another password.
2. They never give you a heads-up that your annual fee is coming up. Most companies give you the courtesy to let you know they are about to take money out of your bank account. I was about to pay my shop rent, and I checked my acouunt and they took money out without my knowledge.
3. I got a chargeback and didn't know it happened for 3 weeks when they took money out of my account. They didn't let me know I had a chargeback. No email, nothing. I got scammed, and they did nothing about it.
4. You will not get paid if your bank is closed. In other words If you work on Friday, you won't get that money until Monday. Bank holidays are the worst.
I switched to Clover, and I don't have any of those problems anymore. I do not recommend this company.

Rude and paranoid
We signed up for this credit card processing service for a new corporation that we established. Our company uses World Pay, but we were told that Elavon would be more cost-effective for the new company we created. On our first transaction, we put in all the required information and got all green checks on the platform regarding potential fraud. The charge went through but then received an email from an Elavon investigator. The transaction was frozen until we supplied literally the same information that we included in the transaction. WorldPay never did this. All I could think of is that periodically, we would have to spend extra time to justify transactions...things wholly unnecessary and things for which we had no time nor tolerance. I emailed them back to refund the cardholder and to cancel our account. They cancelled our account and in doing so stated that their company reserved the right to cancel w/o notice any account and they were doing just that. They also said that the money that we charged would be returned to the cardholder 90+ days from now. So, we can't charge the client for at least 3 months for the service already provided. This company is beyond insulting and infantile as they were firing us after we fired them... Reminded me of what a small child would say after...I'm not going to your party,,, then the child responds, I can uninvite who I like, and you are now uninvited. This company needs to act a bit less like the secret police and offer a lot more customer service.

First time caller to Converge customer service. Rep Robin was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Account had not been transitioned from talech to converge. She closed the old and added the new on payments insider and walked me through how to get the information I need. Waited until I was successful

If you know you know, around 12,000 held for no reason after a random account shut down after using them for about a week during the Christmas season. I needed to process refunds since my funds were being held for 3 months and we couldn’t afford to ship the products and wait that long for the funds back. My ability to process refunds was taken away and I was told by Chelsea bejines to just tell the customers to open chargebacks, keep in mind these were Christmas gifts and im assuming people would want their funds back quick so they could purchase elsewhere. On top of it this got me on the match list due to all the chargebacks. After countless emails and the cold shoulder I reached out to the consumer finance protection agency and they worked it out. Elavon agreed and refunded us all the chargeback fees and removed us from the match list. The relationships destroyed and the revenue lost during the busiest time of the year was absolutely devastating and priceless. Corporate or higher level employees made it happen but the low level workers are not helpful nor friendly. They have an “oh well it’s not my problem” attitude. Elavon will make a huge mistake if they allow Mrs Bejines to continue working for them. If you want to take the risk of ruining your business and reputation then by all means, if you’re desperate, open a merchant account with them. It isn’t worth it in my opinion. It’s not almost march. I’m still waiting on my 12,000 but I’m off the match list and I got $950 in chargeback fees credited

Nightmare level customer disservice
I have been a customer of Elavon for over 25 years. Their nasty customer disservice department made things so miserable when I needed to change my banking that I’m now in the process of finding a new provider. They refused to give me basic account information even after I had verified my identity multiple ways. They told me it was my responsibility to know all of the information on my account – an account I had started 25+ years earlier. Nasty, condescending attitude from a sick controlling woman who absolutely enjoyed making me ask over and over for basic information with responses like "I’ve already told you three times!!"
