The worst insurance company that I have…

The worst insurance company that I have ever had to deal with.
The level of incompetence and ignorance is shocking.
No body responds to any emails. I receive emails asking for my bank details to pay me. I send them, only to be constantly ignored. Their customer service is also appalling. Some of the agents are nice. But most of the time they are very rude.
People are better off catching the bus than insuring a car through this insurance firm.

Go Skippy is represented by this…

Go Skippy is represented by this company. It is disaster. Bad customer service, mess everywhere, nobody know what is going on. All Thier action are focused for increasing time of handling the case and your future losses. Newer stand on side of customers only on the side of sick system where instead of protecting you they increasing your losses. My two claims landed in obdusman because they are not able for over three months deal with my cases. Blame me for accident but not able tell me which rule of highway code I broke in this particular situation. They told me it is because they specialists told them it was my fault. Who are those specialists? In my opinion they working for the system and they doing everything they can to put you in situation where your insurance will go up next time you renew. Avoid Go Skippy, Somerset bridge and Eldon total loss. Bunch unprofessional messy fraudsters.

Sending a bully round who intimidated…

Sending a bully round who intimidated my wife, snatched her phone, barged around our house without asking, then refused to discuss a complaint. Eldon was worse than the thieves who broke into our house; at least they were polite.

Joke of an insurance company

I used to be insured with GoSkippy which is allegedly Eldon insurance so they told me.

On 18 June someone hit my car when I was asleep at 3am - so not my fault.

I provided them the CCTV footage and the offenders plate but they literally ignored this claim…. and done nothing.

My new insurance company charged me £200.14 additional costs because of this on top of the £260 I already paid. So all in all I had my car smashed up and it still is and lost another £200…

They also won’t send me a note to say they never handled the claim and it is on my file and the new insurance company requested it…

Joke of a company.

Thanks

James Mole

0 stars, worst company ever

Found via go skippy...ELDON is now known as SOMERSET BRIDGE
Never have i experienced such bias claims handlers for an car inccedent that was not my fault,
Even the assessors they send out to asses your car without your conset and knowledge are dodgy too by claiming the old scratches on my car are now as PRESENT damages from the inccedent which is untrue even after showing them proof of my cars old photos with the same old marks!!
AVOID! No one deserves such nasty bias claims handlers and assessors like them, save yourself the trouble and look else where!

Apparently nobody can do their job in this company. They can't recieve emails, they dont know how to call the garage and they don't know how to deal with a complaint. When their client hit my car I had to do all the legwork and I'm still waiting on an agreeable outcome.

I would prefer to give zero stars

I would prefer to give zero stars. This company is an absolute disgrace, avoid at all costs. They have changed their business name several time so make sure you don’t get caught out by one of their many alias’. I have escalated my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service and suggest that anyone else does the same to get these cowboys closed down as soon as possible. They take weeks to respond to emails and when they do they don’t even provide accurate or complete information. They do not properly review complaints and they manipulate information for their own financial gain. How they have a Financial Services license is beyond me!

Worst experience of my life….

Avoid this company and GoSkippy at all costs. It’s been over a month now since I’ve had my non fault accident, the evidence is so clear the other driver was at fault even the police officer said so at the scene. I’ve been emailing them so many times and no answer. I’ve being trying to call them and just staying on hold for hours. No answer at all, I’m a new driver and it’s only been 4 months since I’ve been driving so this is all very stressful to me. Please stay stay stay away from these scammers if you want a stress free life.

Shirking responsibility to settle the claim

A car driver, insured by Watford Insurance Company (who correspond by email from Eldon, and whose phone number goes through to Somerset Bridge Insurance) destroyed 30ft of my front garden, including the brick wall, wooden fence and mature shrubs, just before I was going to put my house on the market. The estimated costs of the damage are circa £5k. The driver was under the influence of recreational drugs and was having a seizure for about 20 minutes - we helped him to breathe until the ambulance service arrived and took over.
The driver was solely to blame. He was escorted by the police from the hospital to the custody suite! He is just lucky that he didn't kill someone.
Perhaps it's not surprising that such a low-life chooses an insurance company such as this. To-date, their response has been to shirk their responsibility for their driver and suggest I claim off my own insurance.
THIS WILL NOT BE HAPPENING.
I have no qualms about going to the Ombudsman about this, but it's important that people are aware of this company and avoid at all cost.
The incident occurred in May, and whilst I was calling for an update on the claim just now, having been on hold for 20 minutes (last time it was longer) I have been cut off without being able to speak to anyone.
I was told some weeks ago that they won't be able to assess the cost of the damage to my garden as they deal with vehicles. So, do your policies reflect that your drivers are not insured if they cause damage to some's property? It's not my problem that you don't know how to assess the damage - but it IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY SOMEONE WHO CAN!!
I have provided quotes for people I know and trust to carry out the work - it has taken me hours to get that far. I understand that I can claim for my time in dealing with this matter, but if I need to get more then it will all add to the claim.
It looks like my next steps will be via the Financial Services Ombudsman.
All I want is the damage to be rectified ASAP. It's been over 2 months so far and it hasn't progressed at all.

Stay a million miles form these snakes

Stay a million miles form these snakes. We had a car under their insurance crash through our garden causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. After 7 weeks they are consistently telling us to claim from our own Home Insurance rather than their drivers insurance taking responsibility. How can this be right? We are in the legal profession so rest assured this matter is far from over.

The company is not good

The company is not good, you will not get through to anyone if you need help. It has been more than 5 times now trying to call and being put on hold for nearly 2 hours only for someone to pick up saying they will call me the following day. Noone called, I still called and and got another hour of holding before the call dropped. I would not recommend this service. Buy their insurance at your own risk. Poor customer service.

I'm trying to get my proof of no claims. I'm having to write to them in thew hope I'll be in time for my new insurance with another company.
