I attended Elec for my level 2 and 18th edition back in November (signed up through a legend called Stephen who is very helpful!). My tutor Nima was sound! Very to the point guy but can have a laugh when necessary. Thank you Nima!
I completed my level 3 in April, this module was taught by Chris, and in parts by Phil.
Chris is a geezer, fast paced teaching and very helpful when practicing on the testing and inspection/ fault finding boards. Phil really knows his stuff, and acts as a point of contact. He did the assessing, but if you're struggling with something and need a different approach, he's more than happy to help.
Since completing both courses at Elec, Josh has been a great help finding me work, stayed in touch frequently and done his best to get me a job that tailors to my needs. Also supplying information and support on how to go about completing my nvq.
To sum up, I had a positive experience at ElecTraining. I would definitely recommend this college to start your electrical training.

My experience with Elec Training has been absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend them. Liam Mccreight really went out of his way to get me a work placements for my NVQ (even messaging me on a Saturday night..) and since then I’ve had 2 more opportunities to complete my portfolio…. Starting my next one on Tuesday… I was really worried I had spent so much money getting qualified on paper without the experience for my gold card but fair play, Elec Training really have delivered.👍👍

At first when i signed up i had thought here we go another company like others take your money and leave you out in the stick. However after speaking to Richard who had explained the process and then had Josh call me from recruitment and reassured me that they will find me work to complete my NVQ. It was a slow process finding work however being patient had worked in my favour after a 6 weeks Josh had finally found me a job. Elec training are the only training centre that actually go out and look for work. I haven’t come across anyone offering that service to anyone which is great. As it can be very difficult to find the work to complete the NVQ unless you’re just lucky. I can say I am glad that I had signed up with Elec training and would recommend to others who want to complete their NVQ.

I have previously left a review based on my level 2 learning at Elec Training g but i want to further comment based on the recruitment team.
I have been having help from Liam at Elec Training who has helped me develop professionally including my CV, Cover Letter and looking for work.
I am only 4 weeks in to my level 3 and have already secured work for when I finish the course. Thanks to Liam, I have been able to get put with a great employment to assist me through my NVQ.
Really appreciate the help from Liam and Josh. I couldn’t ask for any more they have been brilliant.
If you need any other reason to go with Elec Training. This is why!

One of the best decision I’ve made for my education and learning. I recently completed my level 2 diploma and my IET regulations and everyone there helped me in every possible way they could. Specially my tutor Latheian McCalla; he was always there to support me and help me whereever I needed him. He’s one of the reason I passed it in good marks. And thanks to Joshua Jarvis for helping me out connecting with people and companies to find a job; keeping me updating in every step of the process. All the staff members are also nice and cheerful. Thanks to Richard, for convincing me to join Elec training.

Positive experience with Elec Training. After completing my Skillscan in February, I was able to get a job placement by April to complete my NVQ 2357. Josh was supportive and helped me through the process, especially with finding the placement. I’d recommend their service to others looking to progress in the industry.

Just getting my foot into the industry and took a while to find a placement but Joshua Jarvis works hard to try and find you a placement even out of work hours he’s helping.

Just completed my Level 2 and 18th Edition courses with elec.training. It was a brilliant experience and I learned a lot. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Nima was my trainer, he is very knowledgeable and supportive.

Liam has been great; tirelessly contacting companies on my behalf to find me a placement to complete my NVQ. With Liam’s support I’ve had some positive interactions with electrical companies so it’s hopefully only a matter of the ‘right timing’ when I can start work with them. Thanks so much Liam. :-) I’m pleased I enrolled with Elec Training.

While taking this course, Liam has helped me to get a work placement therefore I can begin my NVQs. He has been very helpful and I would greatly recommend him to anybody out there looking for that work placement to finish their Electrical training! 😁

Just finished up my Level 2 with Mark and Neil at Elec training and couldn’t be happier, learned a lot in a short amount of time, they were extremely supportive with everything and helped guide me when I couldn’t understand some things to get where I need to be!
Highly recommend!

I had a good overall experience with Electraining. Laethian and Phil were very good tutors. Knowledgeable, supportive, and clear in their teaching, which made the learning process much easier.
Josh was also helpful with placement support and provided guidance throughout the process

Extremely high quality education given to me from the team, in a positive learning atmosphere.
Prior to the course, I was only ever working around electricians on occasion, thus never involved in hands on work within this field.
However with great support from my tutors (huge shout out and massive thank you to Neil Mark, and Laethian) I passed my level 2 with concretely good guidance along the way, which was a very enjoyable experience to learn within this class collective
Big thanks to the team at the Faraday Campus and all the best for the foreseeable future :))

Thanks Elec-training for all their help. The tutors Neil, Laethian, and Mark were amazing and helped everybody in my cohort pass all of the exams. Mark especially was a great help in the practical and really helped me when I struggled since I have no practical or trade experience.
Thanks to Josh also as he was great at finding me a job and managed to get me one in around 3 weeks. He even kept checking up to update me about potential jobs and checked that when I did get a placement that I was happy with it.
My only criticism is that they could give you better warning and a better insight into what the course will contain and how difficult the exams are. Also I believe that the first “in college week” wasn’t great as we were supposed to be preparing for an exam but spent 3 of the 5 days doing other bits which I believe they could have fit into one day.
Other then that I have no complaints and would recommend this company to everybody

Last year I saw the company online, some time in month of February 20th 2025, I was thinking am in the right place, it all started with one person called Richard saying we offer jobs we got placement, after 1 month of training I went to their office he said we gonna spread this entire payment and you gonna get a payment plan, I Knew it was too sweet to be true, I wanted to leave as I wasn’t ready , he asked me to pay at least £60 I ended up paying £100 he said is to secure my spot until i was gonna be ready, after I got home I called him and said I don’t have money to continue an he refund, but he refused to refund and said he’ll wait until 7 months time then they would have moved to Birmingham in 2026, I definitely to listen to him hoping high, some time around October I had to call him and said I’m ready to start he said my slot is gone I will wait till 2026 but i.can go ahead and pay the fees, I paid £1500 and hoping I was ok to start, they refused me starting and said they had few changes that I have to pay my fees completely which wasn’t the original plan and agreement at all, I broken and forced to pay more over £500 and I was ask to still continue paying before starting as a matter of fact I should finish the entire payment, I then said I had enough refund me and still on 14 days payment window, this company cut my £250 for doing nothing for me or offering me any services, just so someone else doesn’t fall for their nonsense scam.
Just to buttress it was a Deploma level 2
