Excellent from start to finish
Excellent from start to finish. I enquired about a golf holiday, stating vaguely what we wanted for 14 golfers. Glen sorted out absolutely everything. We didn’t have to organise a single thing, and had everything covered for the whole trip. Great service and would 100% recommend to anyone for a seamless trip. Ready to book another trip with him.

They improved following feedback
The problem is that no-one gets back to you! We’ve tried several times to rebook after an excellent first trip but no response! They must be so busy with groups that couples are of no interest to them. They blame email addresses going into junk…. We tried again … no-one gets back to you.
Added to this a few days later as the company came back and apologised for their reticence. Have since worked closely with them and what a response. Good to see companies prepared to acknowledge and improve. Would now recommend

Everything went very well, the courses that Glen recommended and advise he provided was excellent, the hotel was very good and the service provided by Step Travel was exceptional too. Our golfing holiday in Tenerife from 12-26 Feb ‘25
Our golfing holiday in Tenerife (8 games over 2 weeks) was hugely enjoyable. The two hotels Las Madrigueras (with its perfect buggy system in the Hotel Basement taking us straight to the 1st tee) and Melia Hacienda are very comfortable with fabulous food (especially the latter). Las Americas is a marvellous course. The Buenos Vista course (designed by Ballesteros) is on a strikingly beautiful coast line but is not a favourite of ours because of its unfair hazards. Good shots on line can hit rocks and disappear. Lakes, streams and gulleys on the Course also take their toll. This hotel and course are also a 2 hour drive from the airport. Organisation of tee times, hotel bookings, transfers to hotels and airport by Elegant Golf were perfect. We have used them for several holidays and will continue to do so next year. We may fly by Jet 2 rather than EasyJet as the latter was not a comfortable experience for ‘Oldies like us’!

Quality experience
We stayed at the Tivoli (formerly the Sheraton) in Tenerife which we highly recommend as staff, acommodation and setting are excellent. It is well located between restaurants in Costa Adeje and Caleta both easily accessed via the lovely coast path.
Airport and golf proivate transfers were included and we were always collected on time by helpful smartly dressed drivers in a clean spacious people carriers.
We booked this January holiday in the previous October which is relatively short notice so our golf tee times were a bit late in the day. Annoyingly some were then changed to an even later time so we didn't complete a couple of rounds. We were given no explanation for this and Elegant didn't flag this up so we noticed quite late on and had to put a restaurant booking back an hour or so. That is the only black mark against Elegant Golf who were otherwise good and better than other golf tour operators

Elegant Golf and Sandals Exuma
Sandals Exuma closed after we had booked a golf holiday and paid through our golf travel agent, Elegant Golf. Our pleas for help were ignored by both companies other than to inform us you will need to pay an extra $5000 for an equivalent golf holiday in the area. To cancel the holiday because our flights had been booked would be extortionate too. So avoid Sandals and Elegant Golf would by my advice, we have been stitched up beyond belief.

Thank you for your patience, allowing me the time to look into the detail of your feedback.
We certainly share your frustration and disappointment in that, many months after accepting your booking, Sandals closed your chosen hotel for refurbishment, of which we had no prior knowledge.
This is even more upsetting, as this was more than a beach holiday stay, as golf was such an integral part of your booking decision.
Unfortunately, as part of of their terms and conditions, a tour operator's obligation is to either offer a full refund of monies paid, or provide an alternative. Sadly, for many reasons, including costs, any alternatives offered were not suitable, resulting in a refund for the hotel stay.
Whilst I appreciate you have not had a satisfactory resolution, I wish to assure you that this matter was raised at the highest level with them, but as you saw, this particular destination did not have viable alternatives, for you.
I have certainly, taken on board your feedback, as I can clearly see that our agent took far too long with their responses, which goes against our service values, and I assure you that this will addressed internally.
In closing, I fully understand that you will remain dissatisfied with your position, but hope you will see that every effort was made to find a suitable outcome, in this very difficult, and unusual, situation.

We stayed at Salobre Golf Hotel Gran Canaria, very nice hotel. Played 3 rounds at Salobre and 3 at Anfi Taurno.
Both good courses but Anfi is the harder and in a better setting, a must play. Flights, hotel, tee times and transfers all booked by Elegant Golf and as per normal everything was spot on!
