  1. Bedding Store

Written by the company

Elegear is the first company that sells cooling bedding items. We have been authorized by Japanese Arc-Chill textile research center, which focuses on Japanese high-performance cooling fibers. Arc-Chill cooling fiber is a revolutionary high-performance functional textile, made with conductive cross-section polyester fibers and jade particles which wick away humidity from the skin, accelerate moisture evaporation, absorb excess body heat, and produce a feeling of coolness and freshness. The jade particles produce an endothermic reaction that absorbs energy, while the modified conductive cross-section polyester speeds up moisture evaporation when the body perspires. The combination produces a cool sensation and reduces skin temperature by 2℃ to 5 ℃.

Ordered a Bed Set, Got Gaslit Instead

Placed my order on July 10th. It’s now August 2nd, and I’m starting to think this bed set might actually be a myth, like Bigfoot, or affordable rent in London.

After hearing nothing for weeks, I had to email them myself, only to find out the pillowcases (which are part of the set!) were out of stock. That information, by the way, was not on the website, and still isn’t. So unless they’re shipping from Narnia, I’m not sure why it’s taking this long.

They’ve told me it will ship out “soon,” which at this point feels less like a delivery estimate and more like a spiritual concept. Maybe they mean “soon” in the same way we say “I’ll start going to the gym.”

As a thank-you for my endless patience and the privilege of being strung along for 3+ weeks, they kindly offered me... a 10% discount on my next order. A bold assumption that there will ever be one.

Meanwhile, the item I paid $77.99 for is now being sold for $49, and they’ve offered nothing to make up for that, either. No refund, no tracking number, no mattress cover, just a discount code and the vague hope that one day, my order will materialize.

Honestly, I didn’t buy a cooling bed set. I bought regret, wrapped in radio silence and corporate fluff. If you're reading this wondering whether to buy from them, don’t. Learn from my pain. Save yourself. Run.
