3 repairs later I've wasted a lot of money having tried to save money with this phone.
They will lie and cheat you. AVOID
I cannot tell you about their phones because I never received mine but if the company is any guide I would not go anywhere near them. I could write a small book on my troubles with this company but long story short they constantly lied to me, attempted to cheat me out of my money and then ignored me. Thank God I paid with PayPal or I would have been screwed over by this poor excuse of a business.
No matter how good it sounds save yourself the grief and look elsewhere.

9 months in screen started to come off.
Returned to to company under warranty... (I tracked the parcel).
After 2 months of chasing they finally admitted possession of the phone.
Then attempted to extort another $50 to repair it, claiming user damage... I had told them about the delaminating screen, they have yet to respond to my emails.
In total I had the phone for 257 days. I have sent OVER 60 emails to the company, many not answered, had to resort to translation software to enhance chance of reply.
They avoided honoring warranty.
They still have my phone and have taken my money.
I have had to resort to contacting Chinese government agencies including the SAIC, the Chinese Embassy in the UK, the Chinese Overseas Association and indeed any other agency that might be able to represent and protect my consumer rights.
As yet still unresolved...
IMO Avoid this brand and company and buy from someone else.

Opened a dispute with PayPal so let's hope they can get my money back from this bunch of cowboys !!?

No service and false promises
Elephone stopped providing service a while ago. They claimed repeatedly to release Android 7.0 for their P9000 in November. It never appeared.
And when you try to contact them you don't get a reply.
It's the worst customer experience I've made so far since it appears that they continue releasing new phones and simply don't care about P9000 customers.
ZERO service
I ordered their new S7 x25 phone in green and waited and waited,after three months I was told it was not being made in green any more,so I had to pick another one.I bought their phone from one of their resellers and it arrived on opening I found:
No sound at phone start up
Elephones own feedback app on phone crashes every time
Battery life poor, 4 to 6 hours hours max
NO sound on touch screen at all.(only when using keyboard)
Can not use live wall papers,
Can not use 4K video at all phone crashes ,
Touch screen is not responsive.
I have writtren to Elephone no less than 20 times and their only advice was,send it back to their recommend reseller.I am unable to do this ,as I live in Thailand and they have new postal laws about sending items with built in batteries.I have asked Elephone time and time again for any help they can give or techincal help.Their reply is we will get back to you but never do.
Keep away from this company,as they have zero service and are really not interested in helping you at all.
Since last time I wrote,they have blocked me on facebook,so I can not message them or put a review about their lack of service
Poor customer service, poor experience overall
Ordered a Elephone p9000 on 12/01/17. Paid for 2-3 weeks delivery. After 2 weeks (27/01/17) I checked the status of the phone and it was still listed as not shipped so I sent an email enquiring in to the order status. Heard nothing for another 12 days then they emailed stating that the order was in the warehouse but they had not shipped it yet due to DHL being an expensive courier and requested another $15 dollars to cover the expense. I kindly refused and requested a refund for the product. I then received a very curt email (no dear sir or kind regards etc) back stating they will issue the refund. I will update the review to reflect how they handle the refunding.
Update: Received refund within 7 working days, lost out on a few pounds due to currency exchange but glad to have been refunded without hassle.
Don't buy
Bought 2 phones after reading good reviews on Laptops Direct (incidentally also given them a bad review) Neither phones work properly. Took ages to find out how to switch roaming data on and it didn't work. Contacted the seller who advised probably bad signal, it wasn't. One of the phones does not send and receive texts reliably and won't send new texts at all to some numbers. Contacted seller as by then just out of 30 day period they told me to contact elephone, contacted elephone they told me to contact seller, so I did. Still do not have a resolution, still have 2 phones that don't work properly. These phones appear to be a good price if only i had realised they were made in China I would have been much more wary. I ahve completely wasted my money and now need to buy 2 more phones even though only had these 2 months. RUBBISH
Scammers
This Elephone company is a SCAM. I repeat, A SCAM.
I bought my P8000 last year, about October last year. It work ok until 6 months later, it just went die. Nothing on the screen, just blank. So I contacted them through email and it took 2 days to get a reply. I told them what happened and ask about the warranty. They told me not to worry since they give 1 year warranty. They asked me to send the phone back to their company in China.
I went to post office but they rejected it because they cannot send phones with batteries, and of course this Elephone has non-removable battery. I told them what happened and they suggested me to go to DHL.
I did as they suggested and DHL said it will cost me USD 78. I'm not paying that much!
So I told Elephone about and they refused to pay. They DID NOT give me any solution. They could've told me to get a local repairment and reimburse the service cost, but they DID NOT!!!
They totally FAILED their warranty promise. Just avoid this company. They have the most terrible customer service.
Even after I told them that I will write a bad review about their company everywhere, they didn't seem to care.
I never made any bad review on any company, but this one is just too horrible. What a SCAM!
Elephone S3 bad to Worse
I have purchased new Ele Phone S3. It is really bad. Overheating, Battery last only 4 hours. GPS does not work properly. It always keep searching even I am in major cities an open area. Such a bad product to sell.
It is fast enough with Android 6.
I did try to RMA it. It is so difficult with them to deal. Please stay away from this company. This should be ban out of EU. Overheating and runs out of power not complaint with EU regulations.
BETTER STAY AWAY from Elephone company - ZERO RESPOND
In the beginning of February I bought Elephone M3 in E-Fox shop paid via Paypal including DHL Express 3-5 day shipping. Estimated delivery date has been postponed several times. E-fox didn't keep their customers updated about the progress of orders. Their communication was very poor. Weeks were passing by and I got really worried if I would ever get my phone since I couldn't believe their occasional information about »delivery in next week« anymore. I was starting to search answers directly within Elephone company and haven't got an answer from none of more than 15 e-mail address I could find, neither on their facebook site and their forums where I had posted numerous posts in several topics to be seen and replied but with no success. I could only read that they have problems with OS 6.0 which was not stable. Obviously they were aware of their software failure already then. That's where all their lies about delivery time came out. Please check how Elephone company does their business and their respond to customer's issues on their forum bbs.elephone.hk. Zero respond – zero aftersale service. The same with E-Fox.
In the end of May I've finally got my phone after 105 days of waiting - in and paid another €60,40 import costs. I was expecting to get the phone in such phase of development I can only insert my SIM card and start to use it. I was wrong. When I insert my SIM card the display starts to flash continuously and no other move can be done. I thought about damaged SIM card or locked device so I had got a new SIM first, then borrowed a few more SIM cards from my friends at other network operators but still failed to run the device. The device doesn't work with SIM card from any operator in my country (Slovenia-West Europe).

I've contacted E-Fox and Elephone about my problem for a first time two days after delivery via E-mail and two more times every 2 days and posted again in E-fox site, Elephone's Facebook site and Elephone forums.
The only respond I've got was PM from their moderator saying if I violate regulations will once again be silenced or banned« because of my multiple-posting. This is all aftersale »support« I've got. Nothing from E-Fox so far – from the seller who took my money for a device which doesn't work.
Search for "SIM CARD NOT ACCEPTED" topic on bbs.elephone.hk forum and see I'm not the only one in disguise. People have started to receive their M3 phones and have the same problem… well… plenty of them I haven't had a chance to experience yet.
I'm so very disappointed about E-Fox and Elephone's unreliability and attitude within their customers. Their ignorance is unacceptable. I've already informed Paypal about the case.
Stuborn as I am I found out a temporary solution which is definitely not the right and final solution which may help you! But I still think it's ELEPHONE's FAILURE WHICH MUST BE RESOLVED!
1. use your old phone or any other phone
2. DISABLE PIN CODE which you usually use to sequre your phone / comes within every new SIM card!
3. insert SIM card into Elephone M3 - SIM code must not be requested now
IT SHOULD WORK! At least it works with me! GOOD LUCK!
My first findings I've experienced:
- battery drain... huuuge... 15% over the night (more exactly 6 hours) in standby mode (wi-fi/data/blotooth/apps off) I don't believe it can stand a day of normal usage
- change of lock wallpapers with custom photo won't change lockscreen but background wallpaper
- 4G loss/ wifi weakness even at home
- silence annoying sound of camera trigger... hmmm... where can I do that?
- and what's bothering me the most - very bad qualitiy of photos taken in auto mode - especially photos in low brightness are extremely grainy - none is worth of 21MP although Droid Info, Antutu and Hardware Info show good specs
I would be grateful if someone can post all camera settings in good use. Please!
