From the initial visit to the showroom right through to the aftercare service, Elgar Kitchens have been incredibly passionate about us having the perfect kitchen. We were very impressed with how hard they worked to ensure our kitchen came in on budget and any glitches along the way were quickly addressed and resolved. We went to Elgar wth an initial design and quote from a well known brand. Their designer made many suggestions to vastly improve the visuals and practicality of the kitchen as well as providing a better quality product. All problems with various parts were solved quickly, so aftercare service was great. Recommended.

I used Elgar kitchens because they could give us what we wanted down the the finest details.
I walked in with an a4 piece of paper with a sketch of what we wanted in our kitchen and it turned out exactly as we visualised.
No other place around could give us what we needed.

Having been recommended by a friend I visited Elgar kitchens last year. As soon as I walked into the showroom I feared I would not be able to afford what they had on display, how wrong was I? I was greeted by Faye who was extremely warm and friendly and assured me they had kitchens to suit EVERY budget. She told me to give her my wish list for everything I wanted and would work out a quote for me. I was gobsmacked to see everything I wanted was within budget. Thank you again to all the team at Elgar for your patience and understanding and not forgetting Sam who did a fantastic job of fitting it. We are over the moon with everything.

Elgar kitchens were the most professional and helpful I experienced during my kitchen shopping experience. I would definitely recommend a visit to their lovely showrooms. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.

After a disappointing experience with another kitchen company, we visited Elgar's showroom and met with Lisa, the business owner, in early 2021. She provided us with a high degree of confidence that Elgar had the skills and experience to design and install a kitchen in our period property which has many challenging architectural features to be accommodated. She organised for Sam, her designer, to visit us and we were immediately impressed with his pleasant manner and obvious abilities. Although we had a fairly good idea of the sort of outcome we were looking for, Sam made some very good design suggestions all of which we agreed to and he skilfully steered us away from some of our initial plans which could have compromised the practicality of the kitchen and utility space. Sam produced detailed plans and some truly excellent colour renders which enabled us to see how the kitchen would look when completed and gave us the confidence that we were in safe hands. After a gap of several months while we waited for a range cooker to be supplied, installation finally commenced in April 2022. Dan, the project manager/installer was superb and introduced various other specialists (e.g. Darren, the electrician) at precisely the right moments to ensure that the installation proceeded smoothly. As a retired person I was able to scrutinise their work on a daily basis and have to say that I was very impressed with both the speed and quality of their delivery. In particular the way that Dan was able to cut/scribe cornices around irregular sized beams leaving a brilliant "designed-in" result was quite astonishing. As with any project of this size there were inevitably some glitches along the way (often where parts ordered from the ultimate kitchen supplier, Burbidge, did not quite meet the specification) but where these issues arose, Elgar acted quickly to resolve, usually within a matter of a day or two. There were some items that we thought we wanted at the design stage but which, in the event, we decided were not quite right or not required. Where this was the case, Elgar acted immediately to refund the cost of these items which was much appreciated. Our new kitchen is truly stunning and has been much admired by everyone who has seen it. In summary, we have been very impressed with the team at Elgar who are all extremely pleasant people and work with quiet efficiency. There was none of the "pushiness" that I have sometimes encountered in the past with other companies who specialise in this area. In summary, we would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who wants to undertake a major revamp of their kitchen/utility rooms. Rob & Amanda

From the first moment stepping into Elgar stunning showroom we felt welcomed and at ease - no hard sell - even if the Elgar dog wasn’t too keen!

Having worked in the construction industry for the best part of 20 years it was a welcomed surprise to deal with Faye and Lisa who are massively experienced in their field and understand exactly what is required. Faye’s experience helped us develop our early designs in to something truly stunning. Lisa was superb in helping us stick to our budget and help us out wherever she could. The Kitchen turned up on time and complete - something other suppliers seem to struggle with from experience.

Even with the current global issue with appliances and supply chains - Lisa offered us temporary alternatives to make sure we would not be without ovens and a hob until ours arrived and her sales team kept us in the loop until ours arrived.

Worktops through their sister company “Stone and Earth” were absolutely stunning and the service and fitting from them was 5 star as well.

The service you get from this independent you will not find with the likes of Howdens and Wren.

We visited Elgar end of March and had high expectations! How wrong were we. We have been extremely disappointed. The customer service and communication has been absolutely shocking. On our initial visit to the showroom we were met and greeted by Sam who was accommodating, knowledgeable and joy to work with. Sadly this is where the good part of our Elgar kitchen experience ended. When you are paying a lot of money for a kitchen the customer service is well below sub standard. We will not be using Elgar kitchens and based on our experience would not recommend them to anyone to use in the future.

Just finished installing our kitchen from Elgar. It has been a great experience from start to finish. we dealt with James who was friendly, professional and helpful throughout from the initial home visit through to delivery and installation, his knowledge of the product and hints and tips on design and installation were very helpful. James provided us with a very competitive quote backed up with excellent plans and images to assist in vision of the finished product.
Before placing the order we visited the showroom to check out the styles and quality, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and the product excellent.
Iam in the trade myself and have fitted many kitchens, when our units arrived they were very well packaged with all parts present and correct. The quality is superb with sturdy units and top quality fittings. James visited again during the installation to make sure everything was ok and to see if there was anything I needed. The whole process has been very refreshing from initial contact through to delivery and and after sales backup.

Buying a kitchen is a huge investment and not a decision to be taken quickly! We shopped around and went to all the usual suspects in Bromsgrove and Worcester including the well-advertised national chain/s. What was interesting, was people telling us what we wanted rather than listening to what we wanted. We spent some time with Sam, who designed a great kitchen that we all tweaked in different ways.
As always, our ideas outmatched our budget and Sam helped to suggest ways in which to focus on the things that are really important and lose some of the nice to have's.
We ordered our kitchen and because the builders were way behind on schedule, Elgar were kind enough to hold it for a while until we were ready.
It is now 90% fitted and looks amazing, sturdy, well made and easy to assemble. We have been back to Elgar on a few occasions for missed pieces of trim or hinges and they have been more than helpful.
Nice people, great showroom, great kitchens would 100% recommend as we already have done to many of our friends.

Having seen an advertisement at our local Rugby club decided to give Elgar a call. Sam came to our house to discuss designs, gave us lots of advice, after answering our questions. Unlike other kitchen companies, we were not asked how much do you have to spend, which puts we the customer on the back foot.
When we pulled up at the showroom, we looked at each other and said we can’t afford a kitchen from here. The displays of units, work surfaces, appliances is amazing.
Sam went through the design he had drawn up, it was almost all we wanted, just a few tweaks were needed. We were certain Elgar would deliver.
As building work was required we were given a contact number for Keith Sutton, who could project manage the refit. We were very impressed with Keith, who has a wealth of knowledge having fitted many kitchens.
The fitting of the kitchen went well, Keith and his fellow workers ensured at the end of every day the site was clean and tidy (even mopping the floor) before they went home each day.
The finished kitchen surpasses our expectations. We are over the moon with the whole process from start to finish. Well done Elgar, Keith and fellow workers.

We visited the Elgar Kitchens in Hallow and were immediately impressed with their showroom, their display kitchens, plus the ancillary displays showing the choices of doors, worktops, sinks, appliances and ancillary items.
We dealt with James Vince and were very impressed with his professionalism and expertise.
He followed up our showroom visit with a home survey and the following illustrated render picture of the planned kitchen was the best of all the other companies.
When the quote for the kitchen arrived, including Neff appliances (oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher and tumble dryer) we were genuinely surprised at the affordable and comparable price compared to other quotes; as we expected a much higher price.
From my experience I would say that Elgar Kitchens offer excellent planning and superior products and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

sam turned up on 14/1/22 to measure up for built in wardrobes. he sent an email on2/2/22 to say he was working on our design that afternoon. today 4/3/22 we have heard nothing this company is a waste of time

From the outset we were very impressed by all of the staff at Elgar Kitchens. Faye in particular was absolutely superb, discussing our requirements and the space in the new extension we were having built. Talking us through and demonstrating the complete range of fitments available. The computer diagrams she completed, really gave us an idea of what to expect. A mention for Sam the fitter of the units, he was brilliant At the conclusion we were bowled over by complete finish.
Superlatives can not describe how pleased and satisfied we are.

Adam did our design and we can not fault the work that he did, he put so much thought into it hence after much consideration we opted for Elgar to supply our kitchen. Where things went wrong for us (hence only a four star review) was Adam's fitter recommendation - we are very disappointed with the issues we had. We felt that anyone recommended by Elgar would be of an excellent standard but our fitter had all the talk but lacked the finesse and everything was done with huffs and sighs like he was permanently exhausted and somehow it was our fault that he had undertaken too much work, HUGELY DISAPPOINTED. Please do your research, we really regret not doing more regarding the fitter, the kitchen design is fantastic though thanks to Adam.

This is a follow up nearly a year after our fabulous kitchen was provided by Elgar Kitchens. We had a problem with an appliance - efficiently and quickly dealt with through their contacts. Also quick phone calls for small issues again dealt with efficiently with great customer service from everyone involved. I would say a model company - having just built our house I can genuinely say Elgar Kitchens shine out as the very best of all organisations we have dealt with - thank you again.

We bought our first property in July 2021 and visited a few kitchen providers in search of a great kitchen to our budget. We went to Elgar via a recommendation but anxious as thought we could never afford them. From the consultation visit all the way through to design stages (all via email) to showroom visit and delivery we were wowed by the customer care received. Elgar Kitchen may be a small business but with the right drive and hunger to provide an excellent service. We've always encouraged small local business and we can't recommend them enough. Adam looked after us and he knew straight away that we weren't sure how to design and also nervous about the outcome. He was great to the point of suggesting a kitchen peninsula where I didn't think I could have one. He got the design spot on. We've had the kitchen fitted independently but John was well known to Elgar and everything we needed it wasn't too much of an ask. Thank you Adam for giving us our dream kitchen, we are very happy cooking (and dancing) in the new space
