This solicitor was a recommended solicitor by The developer that wanted me to use. Although Guy was very helpful to begin with, but just be aware to have your mortgage product offer before instructing them, In case your mortgage lender does not have them in the lenders panel. I had to switch lender, and unfortunately elite law were not in their panel, so I have to change solicitor. But because it’s in their small print they will make you pay the Abortive fee which is more than what you would pay if you were to go through with them. You would think they want to keep you as future client, and out of Goodwill just charge you the searches fee But they do not care at all. And make sure you ask for all the help before you close the case, as they are not going to help you if you need anything else later.
Basically make sure you have your mortgage offer before instructing them Otherwise, you lose out big time! Ive lost about £5k due to this unfortunate situation.

Very disappointed in the service of this solicitor firm, we requested for their help on our existing file which they dealt with a few years and asked if they could provide us copies of the documents. The response was very unprofessional stating that they don't have all the documents and that we should look for this in our emails... Secondly, we have paid for the 6 years storage service and they have only provide partial of the documents with a lot of chasing! its constant chasing with these people and not really handling your enquiry with care. Also there is hidden fees as for getting any documents additional £45 plus vat per documents which they didn't let you know from the start of the quote. I would highly recommend NOT using this solicitor firm.

This review is specifically for Laverne Townshend at Elite solicitors and the utterly fantastic experience that we had dealing with her. We were recommended to her by our estate agent, immediately I felt in safe hands, the quote was competitive and the service was 5 star, most importantly her communication and professionalism has been beyond our expectations but the most important qualities that stand out is that Laverne is just a lovely genuine person with a great energy and enthusiasm that really makes you feel like nothing is too much trouble. She nailed it for us, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to friends and family, it's been a joy.

Couldn't be happier with the service we received from Elite Law. We had a lovely experience with Laverne who took care of everything from start to finish. Laverne is both personable, friendly and professional who was available and responsive throughout the whole process. While there was some pressure from the seller's solicitors in our chain, Laverne was also firm in responding to them and managing everyone's expectations in relation to status of searches, completion timelines etc. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend Laverne to anyone who has had problems with non-responsive conveyancing solicitors in the past.

During our house buying process, they managed the process very well with their expertise and we received our house after a short time.

I had a great experience dealing with Elite Law from start to finish. I found them professional, friendly and communicative. The people working on my conveyancing case were Lydia, Lorraine and Joe. The majority of my contact was with Lydia who was super lovely, kept me updated while chasing the party in my chain who was delaying things and explained everything to me really well (even though some of my questions were quite basic she never made me feel silly for asking or that anything was too much trouble). I would definitely use them again, especially having now seen the problems that can be caused by solicitors that aren't as good as these ones.

I just completed an incredibly complex flat purchase. Both Jonathan Dixon & Jessica Smith did an incredible job. They were diligent, knowledgeable, thorough and detailed despite my constant pestering. Highly recommend.

The experience I had with this team was second to none. I quite simply would not have my house without them. Their standards are excellent, they’re very transparent, they’re efficient, and they’re very responsive. But, what sets them apart is they way they went the extra mile to make things happen when I had major issues and things were falling apart. We sought the advice of a probate solicitor from this firm. Vital information was not communicated to us and what was worse was that the solicitor did not seem to care to try to contact us. This ended up causing a lot of lost time and waste of money from our end. We ended up reaching out to a different firm all together. When contacting Elite Law Solicitors to ask for a return of funds we found out the solicitor had moved on. We were told someone would look into the matter but we never have heard back. I am extremely disappointed of how this has been handled and would urge others to seek advice at a more organised firm.

I had a urgent need of a solicitor and was able to get through out of hours and this was followed up by a call back to me first thing the following morning.

Despite being busy, they were able to move things around to deal with me due to the criticality.
