We had a fantastic week at Cornet Camp being taught by Tom Hutchinson and learned so much. We worried that we wouldn’t be the right standard but everyone was really encouraging and Tom made it a fun and supportive place to practice and grow as a player. Johnny is a superb host and made us feel very welcome in his beautiful home. We found a nice balance between finding time to learn and practice and also to relax in tranquil surroundings. It was a privilege to be able to spend time with some amazing musicians. We’ve come back motivated and excited about playing. Can’t wait to do it all again!

Bass Camp with Yolanda Charles was a remarkable experience! Top quality tuition ensured that I have come away a much improved player and have grown in confidence as a musician. The setting truly is idyllic, exceptional hosting in a friendly environment created many moments that will live long in the memory. Excursions into the mountains and into Granada are not to be missed. I thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone considering a bass camp!

What an experience, what a great learning environment, what a difference it’s made on my mentality to my instrument and what I’ve now got filled in my head to get my hands busy on improving as a player and performer. Things won’t be the same again, even though I’m just a a keen amateur doing it for fun.
The week wast full of very well delivered content, and plenty of it. The Casa was relaxing and peaceful in a stunning environment. We had a couple of unforgettable excursions in the local area too, which were very special.

A truly inspirational week in an incredible location with two music legends. Paul is a great teacher and Johnny is a fantastic host. They say never meet your heroes but in this case they couldn't be more wrong. We all come to learn and be better but that is only half of what you get out of the bass camp. What could be better than spending a week with like minded people who are equally devoted to music and their instrument. I had such a great group and we will be friends for life. We learned not only from Paul and Johnny but from each other and I can't wait to go back.

What an amazing week we just had with Johnny Thirkell and Snake Davis in beautiful surroundings of the hills of Grenada. The hospitality was second to none, the week was really fun and the quality of teaching outstanding. It was such an amazing music experience for Grace and learning from the best! Looking forward to another week next year.

A fantastic week with Snake Davis and Johnny Thirkell at Horn Camp. The music tuition was great fun, I learned a lot and have come home with lots of motivation and enthusiasm to continue improving my sax playing.
The accommodation and all the home cooked food is lovely.

Superbly organised week in beautiful surroundings. Top class music tuition with plenty of playing time and one to one lessons. Opportunity for a stunning hike midweek and a trip to beautiful Granada. The tuition was tailored to your level and we were encouraged to perform solo, accompanying a singer and in ensemble. We finished off the week with a DJ saxophone session. Johnny Thirkell and Snake Davis are fantastic teachers and hosts, I had the best week.

Just back from a brilliant week in the hills above Granada having had the benefit of absolutely top class tuition from excellent musicians and friends Snake Davis and Johnny Thirkell. They made everything just right - to push each player further, in many directions and, most importantly, in a friendly way that works. A most amazing experience. Highly recommended

What an amazing week! It was my 4th time on horn camp and I learnt so much as well as having lots of fun. Both Snake and Johnny were very generous with their time and so encouraging. I’m a committed player but feel even more fired up on arriving home. Snake challenges in a very supportive way that enables you to relax into your playing and improve in a stress free way. He works with you as an individual even in a group context and the 1-on-1s are invaluable. As a true master of his art he inspires by his playing but also his kindness and gentle teaching style. The breath work is so valuable too. And all this in a stunning setting, in a beautiful house, with great food and drink to fuel the creativity. I’ll definitely be back!

Our third trip to Horn Camp was the best yet and catered for more experienced players. The expert tuition from Snake and Johnny brings your playing up a gear. As always, great hospitality and great stories too, and you get to hang put with an inspiring group of people. Pack your green boat shoes and off you go.

Elite Horn Camps offer an outstanding experience. The sax/trumpet camp is led by Johnny Thirkell and Snake Davis - both amazing musicians and top notch teachers. You are made to feel incredibly welcome and taken care of from the moment you arrive. The setting in Andalusia is glorious and everyone involved warm and friendly. I don’t think I have ever had so much fun improving my musicianship. I’ll definitely be going back for a third visit.

This is my second visit to Horn camp and as before, a great experience to learn from living legends; Snake Davis and Johnny Thirkell. This particular camp was dedicated to proficient musicians, therefore a noticeable upgrade in the level and intensity of tuition. The horn camp included group sessions, playing from scores, improvisation and a multitude of techniques across all levels of musicianship. One to one sessions with Snake and Johnny were invaluable and insightful. Apart from music, there is guidance on personal well being, a hike through the sierra Nevada mountains and a trip to Granada for evening dinner. The food at the camp is excellent.
Based on my experiences, I would not hesitate to recommend to any proficient musician wishing to elevate their playing to the next level.

Ten star plus. Everything about horn camp is superb, the tutors, the venue, the food, the surroundings. It's quite simply a perfect experience.

But I've just attanded a week long "Horn Camp" for musicians.
Elite Music Camps, are an amazing team of the best musicians worldwide.
The are the best in their field yet are so accommodating and understanding to your personal needs.
They all went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction.
The accommodations, coupled with exceptional food, drinks and service to our needs made my stay truly memorable. The camp's prime location in the beautiful Sierra Nevada, Spain, made it very special, and I can’t wait to return to "Elite Music Camps"on my next visit. Highly recommended!” 10 star 🌟

Having deliberated about whether or not I was ‘saxy’ enough to manage Horn Camp (worried I wasn’t ’good enough’/didn’t know enough/self doubt etc etc) I am so glad I came. I really didn’t know what to expect but the course was both everything I wanted and everything I needed. The tuition and personal attention from both Snake and Johnny was outstanding and although there were more experienced players on the camp I only ever felt supported and encouraged, as concepts that were both new and a bit alien to me were patiently explained in a way that allowed me to take part. I leave the camp with a new focus and a wealth of resources to explore. Aside from that the house is beautiful, the hospitality warm and welcoming, the food amazing and the company of everyone just fab! An added bonus to have the company of lovely Angie too :)
