11 weeks ago I accepted their offer to put my registration number on their website for £12,000. I naïvely thought that it would be put on the website immediately. I sent copies of the registration Retaining document. Imagine my surprise 11 weeks later when they were still reviewing my application! they want proof of my address despite it being on the registration document sent to me by the Dvla two weeks previously!!
What took them 11 weeks to decide that they still needed some more information? All they’re doing is shuffling bits of paper. They’re not making anything. They’re not adding to society. They’re not waiting for raw materials to make something they just sat on their backsides shuffling paper! I’m going to write a Google review as well

Sold my number plate to them. Felt nervous of process in handing over certificate and little on internet confirming the process. All was good , paperwork well explained, notifications received on what was happening and cheque arrived. Hope this may help others.

bought a car with a private plate that had no relevance to me and bought a reasonably priced one from Elite .
sent off my log book to Elite and they did all the paperwork for me resulting in a new log book being posted to me from dvla .all fees were reasonable and it's best to leave jobs like this to professionals like Elite . can't recommend them high enough RC

3 weeks in and still no payment. They have and still hold my certificate of retention. Saying there was a signature missing why not contact me, instead keep hold hoping I would forget. This is not acceptable. It doesn't need to take so long to buy/sell a registration. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THEM.

Disappointed at the value after 30 odd years

This was a far simpler process than anticipated. The lady to whom I spoke could not have been more pleasant and helpful.

A well managed process where I was kept informed at all stages. On the downside it did appear overly drawn out.

Offered me massively under the value of my private registration. I wouldn't recommend using them to value or sell your cherished plate. Would appear opportunist to me!? Quite insulting actually.

I purchased a plate from Elite over 4 years ago and needed assistance with transferring the registration. I emailed and within 24 hours I had a voicemail from a very helpful lady called Mary. I had been busy at work so hadn’t had a chance to get back to her. Mary went to the trouble of ringing me again and sorting the matter for me. Brilliant service!

Having agreed a price with them, they then raised a number of entirely bogus reasons for not finalising the transaction and paying me and when I got fed up with them and cancelled the deal, they then came back 'as a gesture of goodwill' and offered immediate payment. I declined so they offered it twice more. No faith in their business ethics.

Excellent service from Elite. Took just over a week from purchasing a registration to fixing the new plates to my car. Very pleased - thank you.
