I had root canal treatment and fillings…
I had root canal treatment and fillings done on two of my teeth. Only four months later, I started experiencing severe pain in both teeth. The pain radiates to my jaw, ear, and even my eye. When I went back for a check-up, I was told that one of the teeth shows an infection. I was also informed that the infection was already visible in the previous X-ray.
If the infection was visible in the initial X-ray, why was it not properly addressed and thoroughly cleaned during the root canal treatment? I am now being told that both teeth will need retreatment, and if that fails, extraction may be necessary. Hearing that two teeth treated only four months ago might need to be removed raises serious concerns.
I believe there was insufficient attention and transparency during the initial treatment process. I am currently suffering from significant physical pain and facing the possibility of losing two teeth. This situation has caused me considerable distress and disappointment.
I expected a more careful, thorough, and professional approach to my treatment.
