Terrible quality, poor construction and cheaply made. I bought 2 pair of shoes and the fit and finish is terrible, poor fit and I am trying to get my money back, I will never wear them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Do NOT purchase from this website! The quality is terrible but most of all they are scammers!! They do not let you return anything. They just give you the runaround asking you to take pictures to verify your order & when you show them the items you would like to return with pictures they don’t respond. Everything is a LIE. I’ve sent hundreds of pictures & they don’t give me a shipping address or label. They just keep asking for more pictures….. Please save your money!!! Do not purchase from them!!

I recently purchased three dresses from Ellison and Rowe for a total of $159.88, and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the items I received. The dresses are cheap, poorly made, and not at all what I expected based on the online descriptions.

When I reached out to request a return slip, I was informed that I could return but it would be expensive since they are in China. The policy said that items could be returned in the 30 day timeframe. Instead, I am pressured to choose different items, which is frustrating given that the dresses did not meet my expectations. It's also inconvenient since they are based in China, making returns even more challenging.

Overall, I would strongly advise against buying from Ellison and Rowe. The lack of quality and poor customer service experience leave much to be desired. Save your money and find a more reliable retailer!

Misleading information on the website. Chinese company. Terrible quality. Ridiculous return policy and process. Do not waste your money!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The website claims the company is based in Charleston, SC, yet returns must be sent to China — a major red flag. The dresses I received looked nothing like the photos on their site and were extremely poor quality: sheer fabric, flimsy construction, and much shorter than advertised.
After providing photos, the company insisted the items matched my order. While customer service responded quickly, they repeatedly pushed store credit even after I made it clear I would not purchase from them again. Only after numerous emails did they offer a 40% refund without requiring a return, which I accepted just to end the ordeal.
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration — do not order from this company.

Zero stars is what they deserve. As other commenters have stated, this company states they’re USA based but they require you ship the item back to Asia. They make it appear that they have an easy and generous return policy but nowhere does it say that you have to ship it back to Asia. They do this back and forth emailing where they try to get you to keep the product with a discount on another product. After several of these just asking for my return label, they finally send it only to discover that I have to send it to Asia. UPS stated that it would be over $300 to send an $80 coat. They know most people won’t return it so they dupe you out of your money. The coat doesn’t fit, so keeping it does me no good. I am going to look into other recourse that I may have to get my money back.

I agree with other reviews , this South Carolina appears to be a Catfish or shell location, as other reviews stated my article of clothing was not satisfactory and I was offered not even half if the amount of my garment. I plan to ship item no matter cost I order to force a Full refund as state and Advetised, I will also be reporting this company to DC Attorney General office of Community Affairs

Toilet paper is thicker than the formal gown I ordered!!

Custom service is EXTREMELY hard to deal with. Tried to cancel order before it shipped and they wouldn’t do it.

Do not buy from this website, unless you are fine with being stuck with what you purchased. First clue was it took weeks to arrive with a really odd tracking number that you couldn’t track. To return- You need to take full length photos of the item. Then after multiple emails, where they kept pushing a discount, I demanded a refund to find out I had to ship my dress back to China at my cost. Even though they appear to be based in Charleston.

The coat I received looked nothing like the one advertised. They make it nearly impossible to return. It would have cost me half the price of the coat. Customer service was terrible and did not want to help at all. Stay away from this fly by night place!!!!!!!!( and I wouldn’t even give them one star)

Zero stars is more accurate. Purchased a coat online January 9th. After receiving apologies for delay in shipping, received the order 2/7/2026. The cost cost $95, what I received is worth $15-$20 at most. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like it was advertised. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Deceptive marketing leads to believe it's an America company and it is not

I would give this no stars. This is a fake boutique shipping clothes from Asia. The dress I ordered was not what I received. I received a dress that was completely see through. They would not refund my money because they said the dress is what was pictured. They offered for me to ship back and will not provide a return label. DO NOT USE THIS FAKE COMPANY!!

I ordered a dress and they do not have it in the color that I ordered. Rather than offering to refund my money they sent an email saying that I can either get it in a color I didn't want or I can pick something else of equal value. I responded that they need to refund my money immediately. There's been absolutely no response from these people

Thought I was buying from an American company—they proudly list a South Carolina address. Turns out it’s just for show. Everything ships from an overseas sweatshop, and their “customer service” can’t even spell the company name correctly in emails.

The product? Cheap materials, shoddy workmanship, and zero quality control. The glossy photos and “25 years of experience” are pure marketing fluff.

Customer service disappears when there’s a real problem. Accountability? Forget it. Classic politician behavior: say the right things, avoid responsibility, and hope no one notices.

This is not a company you can trust with your hard-earned money, and I will be sharing my experience publicly so others don’t fall into the same trap.

Do not buy from this company!! I ordered an item of clothing from this company at a cost of $59.95. The condition of the product - looked like it was worn, no tags attached and may be worth $10 at the most . I’ve reached out several times via email, the first was the minute I unpackaged the jacket and knew it was unacceptable. There is no phone number for them anywhere so can’t talk to a live person. They’ve requested pictures, why? There was no mention of that in their refund policy for a return and I had packaged the jacket already. Their responses are slow so there must be one person answering emails. I’ve yet to receive an address, apparently that is on my dollar, to return the product to and in reviewing the refund policy again, I have to send back to Asia? Who knows how much that will cost! By their website, they appear to be in Charelston, South Carolina. Very deceiving! Very frustrating and I would have given zero stars if I could have.
