Terrible product, even worse customer service.
I purchased the Ello "Jane" which is advertised as a ceramic TRAVEL mug. As soon as I took it out of the packaging I was skeptical. The lid didn't look very sturdy, I didn't believe it would seal the cup. It certainly wasn't solid enough to "travel" without spilling.
I took the cup to a local coffee place and filled it with fresh ground/brewed coffee straight from the coffe maker. I drove to work, which is about 15 minutes away, and the coffee was less than room temperature. I swear it works more like a refrigerator than a coffee mug.
I took it home and rewrapped it, and contacted customer service to ask about return/refund instructions. I was informed that *SINCE IT HAD BEEN OPENED AND USED* it was not eligible for a return or a refund.
How would I know if an item is any good before I've tried it? So according to their policies there is no way to recoup your money if you're dissatisfied with their faulty product.
