I ordered two bags of Juicebox, but each bag had completely different beans.

The first had small, dark beans with no chaff and only worked for espresso with a very fine grind. The second had larger, lighter beans with some dry chaff and needed a much coarser grind. I placed them side by side in daylight, and the difference was clear.

At first, I wasn’t sure I could trust what I received. There was a label, but the beans didn’t match. I contacted the roastery and didn’t receive a reply at first, but they got back to me later. They said one bag was likely their house coffee by mistake. They apologised, offered to send a fresh bag of Juicebox, and gave me a discount code.

This kind of mistake is a real concern. With speciality coffee, you trust the information on the bag to match what is inside. That includes the origin, process, roast, flavour, and how the coffee is sourced. If that trust is broken, the whole experience loses its value.

However, I appreciate that they took the matter seriously in the end and did their best to fix the issue. I hope they improve their quality checks in the future.

The website was easy to use, however the delivery was a slow. This shouldn’t detract from the coffee which is well roasted and priced and full of flavour. We had Loop de Loop which was really nice, if you’re looking for something a little different & Juice Box, which was also great!!

The website was easy to use, the delivery was super speedy & the little hand written note was the cutest. Oh and I must mention the coffee is amazing!! We had Day Dreamer & Juice Box, dammmmn they are great!!

Very high quality roaster, attention to detail and their Juicebox natural Ethiopian is just divine juicy fruity with vibrant acidity and 0 bitterness 🔝 🔝

Gorgeous funky fruity coffees, would really recommend trying Elsewhere. One of our favourite local speciality coffee shops had a few bags of the Aurora - Johan Vergara, Las Flores on their retail shelf which we picked up after a great recommendation, and we then ordered another few bags from Elsewhere directly.

Whether it’s online or at the roastery, Elsewhere are the best! It’s where my coffee journey started, and it just wouldn’t have started anywhere else!

I didn't get the notification that my order was ready - I have not yet collected the products as I am still waiting!

I was waiting for the email but instead I will go down and hope that my order is waiting for me to collect - when I click on the tracking link it still shows as 'You’ll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.'
