Worst service ever

Worst experience ever. Returned a pair of sunglasses to Italy and did never arrived. After a month i send email for this to ELTA and they redponded that they are responsible only for the transportation within Greece and i should check myself were is my parcel with Italian post. Evenmore i had to make a search claim request with filling a form C08 and deliver it to the post subsidiary where i send the package to check where it is and after if not found i had again to make claim for refund. Irresponsibility and customer unfriendly.Will never use it again.

Avoid them at all costs

Just keep inn mind that if you choose their services you probably will have to deal with out of service tracking systems, ever answering your phone calls and eventually probably you will have to go to their offices to pick up your package...

This courier is a scam

This courier is a scam. When you buy your product online, you pay a fee to Elta to use their courier service. when your product arrives at their offices, Elta phones you and asks if you want to go there to collect it! How is this legal when you have paid for THEM to deliver it? And if you don't go to collect it, they take WEEKS to then deliver it to you. Literally anyone could enter the Greek market and offer a better courier service than Elta, I wish they would!

Our package of premium wine arrived…

Our package of premium wine arrived conveniently torn open with a lot of bottles missing. We are now being notified of a form we should have filled out at the time of shipment in order to get any kind of reimbursement. Conveniently the form was never mentioned to this point.

Do not use ELTA Greek postal service!!…

I sent an important letter from Corfu town and was charged 6.50 euros for a tracked delivery. 4 days later it had travelled four kilometres to the airport. As far as I can tell, it is still there eight days later! Useless service. Try DHL or another courier

The worst plays ever

The worst plays ever, total scam, delivery isn't arrived, they gave us million excuses where did it go. After some time tried to make another order they damaged the box and send it back to me to re-pack it and I had to pay again as for a new delivery, after that I told them it's not my fault as the box got damaged by them, they told me its not their problem.
No attitude, no respect, they don't give a f#ck at all.
Total garbage company.

They lie!

Again, my delivery hasn't arrived, Tracking says "Addressee requested later delivery -Please contact with store" No I didn't, I never have. They put this when they fail to deliver, it's happened before and i end up driving 20 minutes away to collect it!

I am going to stop buying from companies that use Elta Courier.

terrible and service and delivery... waiting for 10 days to receive the parcels within Greece... and their tel NEVER WORKS! on chat they give you tel number of the office but it just DOESNT WORK! wish Elta to have a new competitor who can do much better job.

Well I can’t understand negative comments

Well I can’t understand why all these bad reviews?
Maybe it because people only leave a review when they had had a problem?
My experience was excellent, posted from Greece on the Tuesday, delivered to me in UK on the Monday, tracked all the way.

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful. I will stop ordering from stores that they are using ELTA. They never notify or call you and they just post random things when you are trying to track the parcel. If you call them they let you wait for more than half an hour and that is if they eventually pick up the phone. Actually they are answering and put you back in hold again. Unacceptable service so please stay away.

Super weird as everything in Greece

Super weird as everything in Greece. No tracking service, no communication, they may claim they attempted to deliver the parcel, but they don’t even try to call you, then you just go like an idiot across all couriers trying to find at least any info about it. Then you realise they ‘tried to contact you” and sent it back somewhere. Super lazy, unprofessional . Just avoid sending anything to that country. It will never come
