Initially I was upset as my sweatpants wore a giant hole in just
6 months but I'm impressed because their customer service team got back to me right away to send me a replacement item. The pants were out of stock so I asked for a hoodie which was 10$ more and they didn't upcharge me which I really appreciated.
One wash and my sweatpants have 4 big holes near all the seams...pockets and waistband.
Really nice, consistent products that are basic yet stylish. Something about Elwood's style is like no other even though they're just basic hoodies, shirts and pants.
Positives:
1. Vintage-wash organic cotton clothes in many colors.
2. Fast shipping and relatively easy returns.
Negatives:
1. Try-on option with free returns has been discontinued and you're required to pay a $5 "package return and insurance" if you don't want to pay to return.
2. Many of the pants styles are for thinner men and women with less "curves". I've tried their denim and sweatpants over and over again but can never get one that fits right. Pockets stick out like crazy or the fit is very narrow.
Ordered the 3 pack of cropped t-shirts. When I got them, I noticed that one of them had some marks on it. I contacted customer service. After asking for a picture, they sent me another one. They were also very prompt in their response. So great customer service. As for the products, they’re great as well. They are comfy but still have a bit of structure. They have a slightly intentionally aged look that’s not overtly aged. Overall, I’m very happy with these. Will order from them again.
