I won an Instant Design session with Marti through her Instagram Giveaway and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The process has been thorough and very enjoyable from the first touch point, paying attention to every little detail. Marti is a perfectionist with a keen eye to how to utilise even the smallest of spaces with clever ideas which was super helpful to turn our multi-functional front room into a dining area, living room and office space. She works with shapes and colours expertly and sees the potential of the space like I couldn't possibly do myself.

She attended our consultation in person and made changes on the spot, moving furniture around completely transforming the space in a matter of minutes. I was instantly lit up by her know-how but also her understated & genuine persona. She took the time to talk me through my options and educated me on the do’s and don’t’s.

I received the final designs shortly after the consultation as promised with furnishing recommendations that were on budget and again, completely transformed the space. I feel like my front room is much bigger without being cluttered and I truly love walking into this central part of the apartment now as all parts of it are appealing to the eye.

She also volunteered to help with some suggestions for my bedroom which was not even in scope. A sign of a true professional who really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. I can't recommend her enough.

My kitchen was already 25 years old at the time - and while it is a gorgeous, prosperous period in a woman’s life - the tired brown furniture and worn counter slowly made it the saddest place in my house. The drawers and doors were skewed, I never wanted to fish out the pots hidden in the depths of the shelves, so I didn’t even use them. I was infinitely bored, but at the same time I was clueless. I knew I wanted new kitchen furniture, but what kind? What colour and size? Modern or classic? Scandinavian, Mediterranean, minimal or extravagant? I wanted something different every day.

I almost gave up on the idea of renovation when my dear friend recommended a young designer, Marti. I immediately contacted her and complained how I was facing a task that seemed impossible: I want to make a room full of life out of a sad kitchen!

Marti got back to me the same day! After surveying the space, we talked in detail about the family habits, the rhythm of my life, how many times a week I cook, whether we dine in the kitchen or rather in the living room? She checked the sizes of all my pots and pans, the patterns on my mugs that I wanted to display, and even the lights reaching the kitchen at different times of the day.

I never thought about how important these aspects were! We talked for hours about the size of the drawers, whether there should be an integrated wine rack, glass doors, what colours harmonise with the shade of the floor, styles, practicality.

When Marti showed me the finished plans, I must confess, it took my breath away. Something I could not even imagine, she saw and created. And I love it ever since!! Every detail of it: the sink, which is finally porcelain, the handles, the drawers, which can now be kept tidy!!
In the morning I drink my coffee sitting on my kitchen sofa (!) while I can see the garden and this is an incredible feeling!

I felt that during every moment of the design process and execution I was important and that this project was about me! Marti didn't just design a kitchen for us, we received a feeling from her as a gift. We often forget how good it feels to be at home - she helped us find it again! Thank you!

Marti is sensible, intelligent, elegant, with just a hint of bohemianism! It’s been a while since we finished the renovation but today I would still choose her as my designer!

How do I turn my apartment into a real hospitality home? This question was depressing until I met Marti. Marti helped me with everything, made all my ideas come true. The harmonization of colors, furniture and accessories brought the result. A dream come true!

Marti has a very sophisticated taste and great sense to understand what colour scheme I feel good about. She marries practical aspects with aesthetics. She was working on refurbishing my living room and also designed my home office. The space given was limited, yet the outcome is not only functional but both rooms became a harmonious, great, warm and friendly environment to be in. Excellent job, I would highly recommend her services to anyone.

After struggling with the layout of my living room I reached out to Embee Interiors for guidance and was instantly blown away by the speed and level of professionalism they delivered. Due to Covid, I couldn't have anyone in my home but even with just a few photos and consultation, they provided a clear path forward.
My living room feels cozy, better reflects my personal style, and is now a space I genuinely look forward to coming home to at the end of the day. I'm already looking forward to working with Embee again as I begin working on the other rooms in my home.
