Extortion

Extortion. I loathed being forced to take your tests every week because you lobbied the federal government.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. They are not honest and I definitely did not get my test kits overnight even though I paid for it. In fact, it’s been three days and I still haven’t received them and they will not issue me a return.

Bad company

Lousy! Sent me a defective kit that had one package open in it. Refused to do the test!! They offered to send a new one to my home address and I was already 3000 miles away. Would not give me a refund for their error just a new kit. Don’t waste your money. Get the test at the location you are at and forget about their virtual crap. Guarantee you will be much better off than trusting them. Bill

Absolutely horrible product. Terrible customer service. Getting married in three hours and flying overseas tomorrow. And they can’t figure out what the problem is for me to get the test done.

On line for over 4 hours waiting

Be prepared to watch a screen for more than 4 hours that reads “Please hold while we connect you with a certified guide”.

I am typing this review from a hotel room in Tel Aviv. I have been online for 4 hours. My flight leaves this evening and I am nervous about having eMed not being able to help me.

A call to the front desk was placed and they have a company coming to the hotel to test me for $150.

I am still on hold with Emed in case that test in the lobby doesn’t work out in an hour from now.

Point is, Avoid this product. eMed cannot help you with a Covid test after you spend $100 for two kits. They do not have the resources to handle the call volume. You also cannot get a refund if the kits were received and not able to be used.

I would give this company zero stars if…

I would give this company zero stars if that were an option. I have been on hold for over an hour waiting for a "specialist" to help me reset my password so that I can take a test to return to the U.S. Their online password reset is not working, and I've tried setting up a new account with an alternative email, also without success. This company sucks.

Taking the at home emed covid test was easy

Taking the at home emed covid test was very easy. It took 50 minutes from the start to receiving the results. We waited 15 minutes to start the test, got the instructions and completed the test. The results we almost instantaneous after the 15 minutes required to test the swab. Very happy with Emed.

Ordered their test kit and paid for an…

Ordered their test kit and paid for an overnight delivery. It didn't show up on time. I found out later my order was shipped as a standard package so it was going to 3~4 days to arrive. I couldn't take it on a trip where it was supposed to be used. It's waste of money.

No refund regardless that should say something is wrong

I ordered this product and and called to cancel the tomatoes no cancelation fee I guess on the website as sisters and the cancelation fee installation feed I tried to cancel it because the friend of mine uses the same product and ran into multiple issues while abroad. He had to end up paying over $200 for testing for 2 people that actually worked. Do not recommend this product.

DEFECTIVE KIT - MISSING PARTS

DO NOT USE! I purchased the self testing kit for my return trip to the US from Costa Rica. As it states on the box I did not open the kit until it was time to take the test. Once I opened the kit I realized that I had a defectived box that came with two nasal swabs and no solution! I started to panic as it was 7pm and my flight left in less than 15 hours. The proctor apologized for the "inconvenience" and advised she could not help me, that I would get a refund of my $29 but needed to figure out how to find a covid test for myself. I ended having to pay $65 to test at the airport and an additional $50 to change my airport transfer to and earlier pick up time in order to test at the airport. I asked the company to reimburse my additional fees since they were a result of the company sending me a defective box and they stated no.

Don’t Buy Covid Test from Optum Store as eMed not a good service to use for self-test!

I would never recommend buying a Covid self-test from Optum Store or use the services on embed.com to proctor the test. First, the product is well below standards of other Covid test companies like Inspire Diagnostics who was outstanding! First, the package to test for Covid is comber some! Second, the proctors are not as helpful, I was disconnected five times and never got my test read so I am now in a health clinic trying to get a test to get home. I spent $90 on an ineffective product! Never again will I buy this test from Optum.

Abagail has no manners to talk- Totally pathetic

My son wasn't feeling well so his school wanted me to test him for COVID via eMed. When the time for the results to be checked, I was speaking to Abagail. I couldn't find my glasses to see the result so I asked her if I can open the card to check the result. She rudely started repeating "Why will you do that?". I don't need to explain to her that I need prescription glasses. I hope they record all their meetings so eMed knows that instead of helping customers' they make rude remarks. I am a doctor myself and would never tolerate the attitude she used in front of my 8-year-old. People like Abagail should be fired on the spot if they have no empathy and no etiquette for proper communication.
