As an active job seeker sometimes agencies are the only way to get your foot through the door.
Contacting the agency myself due to poor communication regarding my application for a role shouldn’t be the case. However, being informed that my profile hadn’t been updated doesn’t instil confidence in the process either.
A twenty-minute telephone conversation with an agency rather than an employer doesn’t allow a candidate to portray themselves in their chosen marketplace.
