I joined emergency focus career guidance package after an almost overnight decision of relocating to Australia from the UK. I had passed AMC Mcq exam but had no idea, whatsoever about Australian healthcare system or where to start. When I joined the course AMC 1 at Emergency Focus I felt and saw the effort and preparedness poured into every lecture session delivered by every tutor. The way the tutors explain the concept makes it easier for most students to comprehend complex theories. In addition, they use the most updated guidelines from legitimate sources that cater to Australian medical practice. The way they incorporate the handbook questions and some qbanks like amedex questions into the latest concepts and guidelines saves you time to look for other sources for your studies. It appears like everything has already been consolidated for you so you can do your independent study, tutorials and mock tests, group study as well as exam tricks in one platform and this is "Emergency Focus."
I personally thank and admire the great works of Dr Laura for pioneering this endeavour. I also commend the brilliant tutors like Dr Chaima, Dr Wajeeha, Dr Nadia, Dr Umar, Dr Arij, and Dr Rosna. Keep up the good work.

It is beyond me how they still operate. Must be huge need from imgs, and that they are slightly cheaper than others in Australia, otherwise I don’t understand any other reason.

The material was all over the place even the copy and pasted information on slides were messy.

Dr Laura specifically was unbelievably rude and arrogant. She argued with at least 4 people while I was in the course.

She even tells people off in the what’s app group when they don’t say “thank you” to her after she does her job of uploading material which doctors pay for as part of the course 🫤

Every few days in the week she’ll say “ahh guys doing all this work and not getting a thanks” 🥴

She laughs at doctors in a demeaning way when they debate with her.

The worst waste of $1600 I ever spent and wasted time.

Do not go here unless their staffing changes, and you ask to see some snippets of their materials.

AMC MCQ course- I passed the exam with the help of the program, which was well organised, and up to date. During my exam i could remember clearly some concepts which our teachers taught us, and i could even hear in my head specifically Dr Wajeeha’s voice and Dr. Laura’s voices replaying, explaining some details they had explained in class for us. And that helped me to answer plenty of questions with so much confidence. Joining Emergency focus was indeed the best decision i made for AMC 1 exam preparation.
