Emerson Carpet One Floor & Home Reviews 40

When I bought my carpet from Emerson One back in 2009, the staff was so helpful and helped me find and install my carpeting. Just this past week, in August 2017, I noticed that a small portion of my carpet that I needed stretching. Mr Emerson sent his staff over and they fixed my carpet for FREE! I even had a small bit also in another room that needed tending to, and they also fixed this for FREE! I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone that asks! I appreciate their professionalism! Keep up the good work! Thanks again!!

Like thousands of other families in the area, we were flooded in August 2016. Six months later, we are STILL battling to complete the renovations on our home. We have dealt with dozens of companies, vendors and craftsmen and faced one roadblock, delay or error after another. Out of ALL of these contacts, there has only been one order that arrived without error--ONLY ONE--Emerson Flooring. The wood and tile floors were exactly what we ordered, Mr. Emerson was professional and efficient, the crew was capable and helpful. The installation coordinator, Aaron, followed up on the job and personally came to our house to address some questions we had. Everyone at Emerson went above & beyond to make sure the job was done correctly. It would seem that this level of customer service would be no big deal; however, we have learned that FEW companies care or even TRY to do a quality job and take care of their customers. Emerson Flooring, in this regard, was Extraordinary!!!

Sal Dimitri was my salesman. He was very knowledgeable and listened to what our needs were. My husband and I agreed on wood flooring but Sal could tell it was not what really what I was looking for but was settling. The next morning I got a call from Sal and he said a new sample had come in and he thought I really should look at it as it was want I was describing to him what I really wanted.
Sal brought the sample to my home along with the sample we had previously chosen and the new sample what exactly what we both chose! A smooth satin finish Acacia wood. The installers were very courteous and did a fantastic job. WE are thrilled with the look of our new floors and would highly recommend Emerson Carpet One to everyone!

I went there on a Saturday, purchase my flooring in full. I was told that I should expect a phone call from one of their installer to set a date and time on Monday. Which was find because it was the weekend. Monday came and didn't receive a call at all. I was like okay they must have been busy and decide Tuesday to call about setting a time and date. I called and spoke to the receptionist which she direct me to the Erin who set up the information. I spoke with him and he told me that my information have not been written up which was crazy because the salesmen Sal wrote it up when I purchased my flooring. I'm like you got to be kidding me. He then let me know it should be enter into their system by the end of the day. So I called again on Wednesday to see what and still no answer. I called again Thursday and talk to Sal and he told me that Erin was sick for the last two days which was a lie because I spoken with him on Tuesday. I was also told again to be expecting a call and still no call from Emerson all I need is a time and date so I can know when to take off. I find this not good business don't tell a customer who paid every dime for the product and install and not call the customer if something had come up for them not being able to call or come out. That is what a receptionist for. I was so excited now they are bringing my hopes down. Bad for business. And I'd I get a refund it's a 25% restocking fee which is crazy because it haven't been pulled or out in the system in the first place.

Beginning from the beginning, I had a salesperson come to my home, help me pick out wood colors. The workers came and installed in one day. Very hard workers. Beautiful job

Service manager terrible. Every time they showed up, they were 2 hours late. Rather than speak to me personally Lee EMERSON chose to send me a very condescending e-mail. NEVER checked out his employee's
'STORY'. i will never do business with them again and would never recommend them to anyone.

We enjoyed working with all of the staff on our home improvement projects. Everyone was friendly and helpful during this process and very knowledgeable.

Lots of issues from an administrative point. Took 6 weeks from the time we gave them their 75% down to get here and install the floors. Had to badger the install manager to get our floors put down. Then they damaged our king size bed, and after several calls they didn't come out and make things right. Had to call the corporate office to get them out here to fix the bed. Did a good job putting the floors down, but with all the aggravation, I wouldn't recommend them.

When the installer(s) finally showed up, one walked in the house and looked around. I informed him there was two pieces of furniture that they needed to move. He said he was not told he about this. (I was told they would move and put back furniture.) He said he needed to call the manager. He got voice mail apparently because he told me he (the installation manager) did not answer the phone. Installation guy said he had to go back to shop to get some sort of meter. He NEVER came back. Hence, the installation of my flooring that was to be done by Emerson on the day they scheduled, never happened. When I contacted them, they said it would be 3-4 weeks before they could reschedule. The installer told the office that there was "standing water" on my floors. I had a friend come over to see if she saw any standing water on my floors. She said what in the world is this guy talking about. These floors are completely dry. She called and tried to reason with the store manager, to no avail. I ended up going pick up my flooring and having to find my own installer.

The sales people were helpful, friendly and easy to work with. The installers were experienced and worked quickly.

Emerson's did a wonderful job with my flooring. I loved the Healthier Living Installation because I have 3 dogs so it was of special concern to me. Everyone at Emerson's was so helpful over the phone and in person at the store. After my installation, the owner even came to my home to make sure I was happy and enjoying my new flooring.

I have known of Emerson's Carpeting's excellent reputation for over 25 years, after I began selling Real Estate. I would occasionally see them as they were measuring homes, as I was showing properties. And as I began seeing their work, service and the difference their flooring made in the properties, I became very impressed with this company! They are product knowledgeable, service oriented, and truly educate customers to help them can make the best decision for their own home. It has been approximately 16 months since my own flooring has been installed and it still looks like the day it was installed. My oldest daughter purchased their carpeting fover 20 years years ago and to the day they removed a few months back, to install wood flooring also purchased at Emerson's, it looked beautiful and just as updated of any carpeting currently on the market! I highly recommend Emerson's Carpet One!

The entire staff knew so much about the products available and which application would be best suited to my needs. The order came in promptly. And doing business with them was a pleasure! I will definitely buy from them again! My floors are beautiful!

We remodeled our home approximately 15 or so years ago and had all of our flooring work completed by Emerson. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of materials and the personal attention given to our home. Therefore, we have continued to do business with Emerson and recently had carpet installed in one of our bedrooms and the stairway leading to the second story. Once again, the work was completed professionally and with attention to detail.
