I ordered 2 sets of replacement…

I ordered 2 sets of replacement cushions for the Barcelona chair. I actually received my offer quickly and the quality of the leather looks good.
EXCEPT the fasteners ( to attach the cushions to the chairs ) are not what is pictured on the website! They say the product is fine and they will not give me a refund. I CANT secure the cushions to the chair if I don’t have the correct snaps instead of leather fasteners. I wish they would give me my money back on a return. Product is not as pictured. I have called a zillion times and emailed a zillion times. They were almost 1000 dollars.So mad.

I ordered 4 dining chairs from Emfurn…

I ordered 4 dining chairs from Emfurn in June of '22 and paid over a $1000 USD. They have yet to be delivered as of 1/20/23. Very disappointing.

Patrick, you were informed twice that the chairs weren't in stock and won't be in stock anytime soon. Both times you chose to wait. We even offered in-stock chairs yet you refused. Today you've asked for a refund which we've complied with. So I don't understand how you feel the 1 star is warranted. We can't be held liable for items not in production or not in stock, plus it's not like we didn't want to deliver the chairs or ignored your order. The chairs are simply not in stock. You had ample time to request a refund or replacement. You declined each time and chose to wait. Not sure how this is our fault, but in any case when items are in stock, they're dispatched from the warehouse almost immediately.

If this could be a zero it should be! We ordered a table in September and were promptly offered a product that was close but not the same due to the one we wanted was backordered. We agreed to wait until January as discussed with Francis but when paypal posted the charge in full for a jewlry store in CA we disputed the charge since it was not Emfurn.
Within a few hours someone from Emfurn responded by email in a rather nasty way that we damaged their reputation with such dispute and has now continued on to say they cancelled the order and stated they "were not running a charity".WOW- not only does this company need to address paypal's merchandise listings but also get an attitude readjustment! What company holds a full fee for merchandise that is "promised" in January but isn't delivered yet and sends nasty emails without having the guts to identify the person sending them?
NOTE- there was no expectation of having the order fulfilled for free- the charge would have been reactivated. Due to this company’s response I would not order anything from them and I would definitely never expect to be a “charity case”. Very poor customer service skills

Hi Karen, you placed a chargeback inexplicably and then expected us to complete your order. Then once we informed you that we will not be able to complete your order you threatened to leave negative reviews. Unfortunately we're not a charity and you cannot reasonably expect a free table after placing a chargeback.

I don't think you understand how chargebacks work. Funds are pulled from the account right away. The charge cannot be "reactivated". We therefore cannot fulfill your order after it's been chargebacked. Feel free to buy elsewhere.

Wrong Product TERRIBLE Customer Service, refusing to take the item back or refund my money

I ordered two couch covers, didn't receive tracking information until I requested it. I received my items almost one month later, the packaging was completely ripped open and the entirety taped shut, including pieces of the product. The product material was thin and cheap and blue instead of the green I ordered.
I reached out for assistance and was repeatedly told I had to send a picture in (not stated in their return policy) before they would help me. I let the manager know that I would send in a photo when I got home and that I would like to return my items for a refund (there's no where on the site to generate the return process). The manager told me that since it's a remorse purchase they will send me a replacement and not a refund. I let him know that, this is not a remorse as it's the wrong product and that I don't what any of their products as the whole process has been such a struggle. He repeatedly told me to send a picture and they'll send a replacement, not a refund.
The only thing I want is to send this stuff back and get my money back. The manager then hung up on me.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY
Update: After sending a picture of the incorrect item to Emfurn on 8.26, they responded same day apologizing and stated they'll send the info to the warehouse manager and get back to me as soon as possible. I did not receive any communication so I reached out via the email chain on 8.28. No response. Today, 9.1, I reached out via email again asking for the return address and when I could expect my refund. Here is the response I received:
'Hello,
As per my manager's request, we can no longer help you after you've left a negative review before we had the chance to complete your request. Upon further review we've sent you exactly what you ordered and many other customers have received the same sofa cover. Unfortunately we do not honor remorse return requests.'
I responded and let them know I'd update my review once this was made right, as I was send the wrong items and it is not a remorse purchase. I have not received a response.
I also looked at their return policy which has since been updated to say you have to send 2 pictures of the item before they'll do anything. There was NOTHING about pictures for a return when I was speaking with them last week.
So disappointing, do not purchase from this company!

We just spoke to you an hour ago and asked for photos in order to see what's wrong with the item you ordered. Based on the photos we will either send a replacement or a refund. You kept refusing to send photos. We'd like to assist you with either a replacement or refund but we need photos for the warehouse to review and decide accordingly. A 1 star review just because you couldn't have it your way isn't going to solve your problem. You need to contact customer support and send photos so that we can assist you in accordance to our shipping and returns policy.

Faulty furniture, uncooperative staff

I bought a dining set „tulip“ style – table and 4 chairs. Emfurn sent me wrong furniture. After mistakes and delays, I received the right furniture in the US. Danny, a kind sales rep, acted cooperatively. I moved to Europe, and began using the furniture in 2016. Soon, one chair became stuck and another became loose, but they remained usable. Two seat covers became torn in 2020 despite rare, gentle use. I telephoned and emailed Emfurn from Europe, asking to buy replacement covers, which Emfurn would simply ship inside the US. Frances acted curtly. I reasoned with him that Emfurn should sell expendable parts because customers cannot replace the whole furniture set because of flimsy fabric. He stubbornly refused my pleas. I asked him to refer me to a manager: he said he was the manager. I asked him to refer me to owner; he said he was the owner. I asked for his full name; he refused to identify yourself. Instead of cooperating, he blocked my emails. Man who hides his name surely hides something else as well. BEWARE OF EMFURN!

Hello Nenad, you purchased chairs from EMFURN over 5 years ago. After 5 years of use a piece of fabric will not retain its original form. Our warranty lasts for one year against any manufacturer related damages or defects.

We also do not sell replacement covers for the particular chairs you purchased, nor do we ship internationally, yet you kept insisting on buying an item we do not sell.

Unfortunately we could not assist you any further and had no choice but to cease all communication because you kept insisting we sell you something we do not have for sale and ship to a location we do not deliver to.

Fraudulent goods!!! Total charlatans!!!

Fraudulent goods!!!! I ordered 2 sets of Barcelona chair replacement cushions. If you are expecting real leather faces as is stated on their website not bonded leather don't waste your time. My cushions started to delaminate not even a month after I bought them. I contacted Emfurn. Danny in customer service assured me their cushions were real leather and I was mistaken. Multiple emails with pictures of delaminating cushions, cushions unzipped showing bonded leather not real leather anywhere, and shipping boxes. I finally received an email from Danny offering a 25 percent refund not the leather faced cushions I ordered or a full refund for fraudulent goods once returned. I am stuck with delaminating cushions for a whopping $990 USD. They are total charlatans!!!

Excellent Customer Service

I ordered chairs in a color that didn't end up working for me. Danny couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. I was able to exchange the chairs for a different color and Danny helped me arrange to get them quickly (in time for a company).
