Stressful booking REF: BND/22735403
We have booked a holidays with emirates holidays on 11/01/2026 to celebrate our anniversary at a cost of £4549.20 (before the war). Everyone else who was coming with us has booked with British airways holidays who were all given refunds due to the uncertainty and ongoing war in the area. As everyone who was coming with us for this celebration is no longer coming with us we requested refund from the emirates holidays and we were denied this. We were informed recently via that certain area of our hotel will be closed due to the summer heat which is unusual as we have stayed in this hotel before. We requested refund again as the terms and conditions of booking have changed but we were denied this again claiming it’s its beyond their control. The price for the same holiday has been going down and down and it’s now ( 24/06/2026) £3658.00 ( that’s £891.20 less that what we paid) we contacted the emirates holidays via WhatsApp and they told me there is nothing they could do. The whole booking experience with them was very stressful and they provided no support at all. I had a very bad experience with their flight in July-August 2018 when they tried bluff us off with 10000 rewards point which we never used or planned to us or fly with them again. We only booked with them because of the convenience of the airport being nearer. When we booked with Brirish airways holidays in July 2016 at the same hotel the price has dropped and the British airways holidays were more than happy to refund us the difference and upgraded up. The problem with the emirates holidays is they do not follow up on complaints even after they ask for more details. It must feel great to see customers stressed and sell the same holiday for almost £1000 cheaper. 🤷🏼♂️
