It is a solid half pint mug with attractive emblems related to eating and drinking. I particularly liked the commemorative feature dating the mug to 40 years since Emma Bridgewater started making pottery in 1985. Most of all, it is made in Britain, not in China. I’m not sure what aspect is handmade, as it claims on the bottom of the mug.
