Very expensive for a bread bin. It's not tall enough, the lid doesn't fit when I put a new whole loaf in it

Purchased to go with original (low/wide) enamel bread bin. This design is tall and narrow… sadly not tall enough to accommodate a standard loaf and not wide enough for loaf to fit horizontally, so not fit for purpose! Quality of the build is poor, with single skin lid with no rolled edge, leaving edge sharp and no air vent. Really don’t understand why Emma Bridgewater would sell a bread bin which won’t hold a standard loaf!

Quality is fine, but the product is too small, you can’t fit a standard sliced loaf in.
