Bought 2 canisters as they are reversible , they are a great size , but 1 has a small black paint mark close to the writing & should have been graded as a second .

Lid doesn’t fit at all and for the price it wouldn’t hurt to have a silicon seal which I purchased from Amazon separately

Reply from Emma Bridgewater
Good Morning Margaret,
Thank you for taking the time to review our product.
We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed that the lid did not fit tightly on your storage pot.
Our customer experience is very important and rest assured that we will pass your comments forwards for future consideration.
Kind Regards
Emma Bridgewater Team
It is a very beautiful storage pot. It is just that... it does not have any (plastic/silicone/rubber) insulation about the lid as normal ones, so nothing kitchen-stored could be stored in there, let alone sugar, coffee, or tea, as it is Toasted on the pot itself.
