Ladybirds are pretty to see and the gardener’s friend; there are also lots of tales about how they bring you luck. For instance, the redder a ladybird is, the better your luck. So just look at all the very red ladybirds on our Ladybirds Tea Towel! Other stories say that if a ladybird lands on your hand, you’ll get new gloves; if one lands on your head, you’ll have a new hat. (Keep the doors open when drying up with our cotton kitchen towel to see if any ladybirds are drawn to it and to you – and what happens as a result.)
