All our mugs are Emma Bridgwater and we love them so when I saw the black Labrador that looked exactly like ours I had to have it! Unfortunately there was only “ seconds ” available but as it wasn’t much cheaper than full price I assumed the flaw would be a minor issue with the pattern which I could live with. I was really disappointed to find that the fault was in fact missing glaze at three points on the rim of the mug so you are drinking from a rough surface. I’ll never use it as a mug to drink from but it looks good on the kitchen dresser so I kept it, I do think the faults should be made clearer in the write up so you know what you are getting.

Really disappointed. I have a lovely collection of good value for money seconds, but this was definitely thirds. No response from Customer Services after 2 contacts and 11 days.

Lovely mug. Purchased as a second but no obvious flaw visable. Offer on mugs when purchased but sadly this design was not included in the offer

I bought seconds, some of which were in very poor condition. I reported this but did not receive a refund. I paid a lot of money and bought from overseas, so I would like to receive a refund even for acceptable items. The theory that if it works, it is good enough does not work.
