Though I knew these were seconds one had an incredibly obvious error like a Sharpie with two marks approximately 2-2.5 inches long on the outside of the mug really marring the mug much more than I would have expected. One had a similar mark inside but the one with it outside is completely spoiled in look which is the reason you buy Emma Bridgewater! Pretty disappointing, still expensive even as a second. I'd like a refund or exchange but as I was away on holiday it's too late.

Thank you for leaving a review. We do advise with our seconds products that faults are marked with a black line which will be visible when your product arrives but washes off with a damp cloth. I love the polka dot design. I ordered 5 mugs and although I've ordered seconds before, this tends to be a small fault wi5h the glaze or the painting. One of the 5 was cracked in 2 places and the returns process meant I had to pay to send it back fir a replacement. I'm worried that the other 4 will not prove hardy!
