Do not waste your time or money buying from this company.
UK address on their website but the suits are made and dispatched from China. The worst quality I have ever experienced in a suit.
Only half of our order arrived.
Customer service is almost non existent.
My partner emailed to ask about the missing items with no reply, but as soon as I emailed asking for a size guide they replied within 10 minutes. So they don't reply to rectify your order but reply straight away if they think they're getting more money.
After seeing all the other negative reviews I really do not know how this company is still operating. What a scam.
I have took the advice from another review on this page and have reported them to their website provider. Hopefully their site gets shut down so others don't have to experience the stress caused by this shambles of a company. I have a feeling I will also have to go down the route of section 75 of the consumer credit act to get my money back after reading everybody else's experience with the refund process.. or lack of refund process.

THE worst suit I have ever seen. Avoid this company at all costs. Suits are on their way back now and will be getting the credit card company involved if they don't issue a refund instantly. What an absolute joke of a company. Misleading.
I have reported them to their website provider - shopify. They are now investigating this scam of a website.
If everyone else who has had a bad experience with this company could do the same - report them to shopify.. their website will be shut down and others will not have to go through the awful experience a lot of us have had to deal with. It is easy to report them to shopify. Go onto the shopify website, go to chat, then report them. They will then send you a link to send an official report.

I ordered and received a pair of Tweed trousers.
I ordered a 31" leg length and received unfinished length of 34" so had to shorten them myself.
The cross bar on the french bearer was missing, I asked them to send me one and I would stitch it on myself, they wanted me to return the trousers but the cost of returning was more than the cost of a set of French bearers so I bought a set and stitched them on myself. The Tweed was the thinnest I have ever seen, definitely a summer Tweed. I found the Fly Zip very short making it difficult to use it for what it was meant for :-)
Apart from all the small problems, apart from the short zip, I found the trousers very good value for the money and will use them again, subject to speaking to them first.

A terrible returns policy where I was sent the wrong item but still had to pay for postage both ways. I even had to print off the email invoice as the item didn't ship with one in the bag. I can't face ordering anything again and now out of pocket with nothing to show for it!

I have read many negative reviews on here about Empire Outlet. Well here is my feedback. I used the website to input all my measurements for a blue Tweed Suit for my daughters wedding. It did say that the lead time to delivery would be around 4 weeks, so I wasn't phased by that, especially since it was being hand made and the wedding is only in April. After two and a half weeks I sent them an email to see if they could give me an update, I got a response the following day with an estimated delivery time. I contacted them again after 3 and half weeks as I had not heard anything since my last email. The following day I got a response to say it was on its way and I should receive it in the next couple of days. The following day I got a text message from Royal Mail saying they had received my package and it would be delivered today. The suit was delivered as advised, The quality is very good for the money I paid, The trouser legs are just a tad too long, but I am having them shortened, the waistcoat and jacket fit like a glove.. All in All, I have very satisfied with my purchase and the communications. Thanks to Empire Outlet.

Ordered the navy herringbone tweed 3 piece for my husband. It arrived in 3 weeks as expected. This is a beautiful suit - lovely soft fabric, great colour, fit and price. One minor thing - it didn’t come with a hanger.
Apart from that we’re really really pleased. Would definitely use this company again.

Excellent service, really prompt response to contact. Good quality garment delivered very promptly.

A very happy buying experience. Their suits in tweed offer a very pleasing choice of patterns and colourings. And their guidance to assist with sizing is very helpful and well worth spending time on, to result in the suit being the ideal fit. And my experience is that they are very helpful in accommodating wishes as regards particular features/flourishes to be added to the suit. And the overall cost for a suit of such appeal is extremely competitive - so much so that in a few short weeks I have purchased half a dozen or so, and I do not recall having garnered so much enviable comment by my suiting ad experienced with my Empire Outlet suits. They have consistently delivered in expected timescales, even when Christmas/Festive period intervened. Their packing of the suit may be considered less than ideal or less than the suit might strike one as meriting, but that is for me a very small cavil, and of scarce moment in my overall experience. All in all, a delight to have added these suits to my wardrobe.

Placed an order ,when it arrived i was really unimpressed with the quality and fitting of the suit, i have bought better quality of ASOS alot cheaper, but worse.... i sent it back special delivery costing me over £11, so it would of been with them on the 18th November, and i stil havent had a refund, had emails saying they have checked system and its not marked as recieved, this does not mean that it has not arrived at our depot, very fishy, ** this company is out to get your money and not refund you*** i have miss placed my tracking but have my payment from the post office on my banking, do not buy from this company, at all, 1 star it isnt even that... order is 29624 .

**update STILL no refund 23/12/21 *** con artists this company - do not buy at all it’s not worth it after this hassle *

**another update 11/01/22 - emailed again - they are acting like they havent recieved it when £11 was spent on tracked delievery** DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY** they know they have recieved the return but are scamming people out of there money!!

another update 16/02/23 0 trust pilot reminded me of this awful experience buying from this fraud company, which we never received our refund - they full well know what they are doing to people this company, its very obvious with the many other reviews left how much of a scam they are.

@empire outlet- you refund the order and i will change this rating, but intill then whilst being a scam/money stealing company i will keep re posting this review so more people can see and read this!

I have many 100% tweed jackets and a few tweeds suits ( 57 retired) all of which are from Scotland. So it was with some tripidation that I ordered from this firm.

I was surprised, the garments may not (only time will tell) last as long as the others I own. But the 60/40 wool blend does make for a soft feel and I have to say it looks good.

I bought for a particular event.

What important here is to balance the cost / quality / value - it's amazing value. It's simply not fair to compare with a suit 4 x plus the price.

The packaging could be improved, but not at this price. Hang in bathroom for a day and any crumples drop out.

Communication with them excellent.
But trying to adjust my jacket size online a bit difficult but I got and I just wore the 3 PC suit. Very nice fitting. Looks classy and vintage look. Like Peaky Blinders

Do not use this company. They do not communicate and still have not actioned a refund even though I sent it recorded delivery 3 weeks ago! Awful company.

Suit DO NOT PURCHASE

I ordered a suit 6 weeks ago delivery quoted at 4 weeks. I heard nothing so chased after 5 weeks got template response will be get back to you shortly… they did they would check with the taylor for an update. I heard nothing for 4 more days so emailed again no response, I did this twice more then got the wrong will speak to taylor reply again. I advised them I had been told that 1 week earlier and that I need the suit for an event within him the next 5 days, I was told it wasn’t ready and offered a refund so clearly not even started. I accepted the refund and was then told it would be 14 days to process. The whole saga hasn’t been great I wished I had read the reviews before I ordered… buyer beware!

The trousers I received from Empire Outlet are great!

Absolute shams of a business firstly the suit I ordered is not the mismatch suit that they sent me.
Upon returning items I had to pay the return delivery and upon refund I was made aware they do not refund the original postage cost therefore leaving me just under £11 out of pocket for something that I don’t even have.
Very unprofessional company.
Shocking customer service.
My advice stay well clear of this company.
I do not usually write reviews but felt I had to with this one as it made me so angry.

After making a purchase you’re stuffed. They don’t respond to emails, and if they do it’s a templated message to every email.

My order took over a month to arrive, 3 days before my wedding.

All of their inventory is shipped from China, I think it’s a con they say it’s based in Shepton mallet.

I would be extremely cautious ordering from this company. Excellent customer service up until you pay for your items but after sales is very poor. Had to involve PayPal when I still hadn't received a refund on 3 returned items despite them informing me they had received the goods back from me

Similarly to the other reviews. This China-based company acting as a British one does not send the right sizes to the customers and has failry poor customer service. Won't buy from them again.
