Excellent Service and a very well made product.
Our double garage door was installed with a very small crease in one of the panels and was replaced before the final amount was required.

Emsworth Garage doors are excellent.

Emsworth Garage doors are excellent right from the start of coming to look at what we wanted to the finished job. Their work was quick clean and tidy. The fitters have done a wonderful job and cleared away all rubbish. Their estimate was quite a bit cheaper for exactly the same door and work as another local company. So wouldn't hesitate in recommending Emsworth garage doors.

Would have been 5* but communication…

Would have been 5* but communication was a little difficult as the person in charge went on holiday. When the fitters arrived they managed to lock their tools in the garage!
Would recommend.

Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to elaborate on the tools being locked in the garage, which is something we've never had before on a Seceuroglide roller door. We've since learnt (after nearly 20 years of fitting the product) that there is function which means that the door will automatically lock after a set number of minutes inactivity. The manufacturer told us that this is also set off, which is why we'e never come across it on an install before but on this occasion it had inadvertently been activated.
From our perspective it's good to now know about it, even if we did look a little silly at the time!!

Absolutely amazing roller garage door!!

Absolutely amazing roller garage door!!

I couldn't be happier with the end result of my roller garage door. The guys turned up promptly and on time, we're friendly and courteous and we're very hard working.

They started by fitting a wooden frame around the inside garage opening using good quality timber, this was screwed into the brickwork and was very sturdy. Next the end caps and control unit were fitted and wired into the mains socket I'd left them.

Next the door runners were installed, these were screwed into the wooden frame and secured at the bottom into the floor with quite hefty screws. I went for the elite upgrade which gave me better runners and was well worth the extra.

After this, they installed the actual garage door and although it was very fiddly, because I was having it installed between joists, it was soon up and secured in place. This is when the first of a couple of issues came to light. As the guys went to set up all the electronics they discovered that the supplier of the garage door had not included the relevant coding chip in the box to code the wireless remotes. After calling their boss, he came all the way from Emsworth with a chip that should have been in the box to start with, but once this was installed the setup of all the wireless fobs took a matter of minutes. While one of the guys was sat coding all the remotes the other went round the timber work with white fascia to give the garage door frane a clean modern look.

The next stage was installing the manual override that I decided to have, as I don't have a service door into my garage, so in the event of a power failure I'd still be able to get in and out of the garage. A hole was drilled through the woodwork on the left hand side of the garage and the mechanism installed. This consists of a multi elbow winder and a lock so no one has access to the mechanism when not in use. This has a small plate fitted to show the direction the handle must be turned in order to open the door.

Finally they had to set all the settings for the garage door. This included upper and lower limits of the garage door. This is when the second complication occurred. Upon testing the garage door it was discovered that the setting that would raise the garage door when it sensed an obstruction didn't work and didn't stop when it hit something. After a couple of phone calls it was discovered that my unit was setup for a wired connection not a wireless one, so it had to be reprogrammed, which was a little fiddly but the guys doom had it working as it should. Once reprogrammed the door stopped and raised about a foot when it was obstructed in some way.

As a final thing I was shown through all the settings and procedures in order to use my garage door correctly. Was handed a starter pack which included a small pot of touch up paint, 2 spare remotes and a plaque that we stuck to the inside of the door runner to show all the information and was proof that I had a garage door that conforms to police standards.

Overall I couldn't be happier with my garage door, it's a fantastic addition and looks astonishing. The work was completed to an extremely high standard, the guys were tidy and had a very good knowledge of what needed to be fine and although it took slightly longer then usual because of the couple of hiccups it was installed quickly and touch wood have had no problems thus far. Fantastic company and one I'd definitely recommended to friends and family!!!
