I have just completed the Safeguarding Children Level 2 training. It was in depth and thoroughly covered all areas of the subject. Handy to have presentation notes to download too.

Zero to Superhero - that’s me! Well, I wouldn’t call myself a superhero but I am excited and nervous about working with Emagination Training and looking forward to passing on my knowledge to others.

I did the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Level 2 training. The series of units included short videos that you watch.

It was a painfully boring experience.

There was a voiceover that sounded like an auto-dub, performed by an AI robot. There was hardly much intonation, with the same uninterested tone used throughout.

All the text for the voiceover was typed out on the screen. It would have been quicker and easier for me to simply read the text, without the inane voiceover.

The video graphics used to illustrate the videos were patronising. Some of them were simply irrelevant. They added nothing to the training other than to annoy me.

There were a few spelling and grammatical errors. Occasionally the voiceover said something different to the text on the screen. For an educational programme, such errors are at best lazy, at worst negligent. (Which is ironic, because the training included a discussion about neglect.)

The content itself was incredibly boring. Many details and facts were listed that don't actually help me become any better at safeguarding vulnerable adults. I would have preferred useful, practical advice.

The quiz at the end of the training was poorly made. I could have skipped through the units without paying any attention to the content and get a passing grade simply by using common sense.

I would not use this training again, and I would discourage others from using it.

The videos were clear and easy to listen to and follow. I had thought that there would be quizzes/things to do to help confirm what I've been taught and make me think a little more.

Very thorough and clear child protection training, essential for any organisation who has children in their care.

The videos were excellent. In a couple of places a question was asked but then there wasn't a gap to think/answer it. I know you can pause the video but a little gap would have been appreciated. Also more quizzes/things to do as you go along would break it up a bit.

The videos are very easy to understand, clear and consise.

I have used this company for many years for my training requirements and they never failed to impress me with their service and professionalism. The website is easy to navigate and any enquires are dealt with at great speed. Nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this company all the time to others and will continue to do so. Mathnasium of Wimbledon sent some of their tutors on a First Aid training course with EMTRG and the instructor was very engaging! The overall feedback was very good! It was really well organised and they took extra precautions due to COVID-19, so they made everyone feel safe. We'd like to thank the team at EMTRG for all their help with our training needs!

This was a really easy to follow, broken down training course that allowed you to do it in your own time and also go other sections as often as needed. It allowed time for note taking and also additional resources were provided for extra reading and research.
