Imogen at the Chelmsford branch has been an absolutely fantastic maths tutor for my daughter. Since working with her, my daughter’s confidence has grown enormously, and she now approaches maths with far more positivity and self-belief.

Imogen has a wonderful ability to get the very best out of her pupils. She is patient, encouraging, and explains concepts in a way that really clicks. Her enthusiasm and dedication have made such a difference, not only to my daughter’s results but also to her overall confidence and enjoyment of the subject.

I cannot recommend Imogen highly enough. She has been truly outstanding.

Amazing, just amazing. My daughter is much happier and just really enjoys her mentor sessions with Mike. It's improved her behaviour and understanding. Her emotional regulation is much better as well as awareness of other peoples emotions and feeling. She always come out happy, laughing and relaxed. I would highly recommend.

EM Tuition is a well-respected and reputable tutoring organisation that is well run and administered competently. I have only been with EM Tuition for 5 months (at the time of writing this review), and I am very impressed with the Essex Team, who get things sorted out and turned around in a very timely manner, something that is super important when one is working remotely. My only niggle is that things tend to go a little too quiet during term break times, which can have a detrimental effect on my planning and organising process. Other than that, EM Tuition is a great career option for anyone in the Tutoring sphere who has other income streams to see them through the quiet times.

Working at EM Tuition has been a wonderful experience. It is a brilliant company with excellent support, and the team is always easy to reach. Helen is a brilliant CEO. They truly protect and value their staff while caring for all students equally. The wages are also higher than many other companies, which is a great bonus.
In the Essex area, Sumayyah and Ashley have been incredibly supportive. They are trustworthy, honest, and clear in their communication—if something can be done, they make it happen, and if it cannot, they explain the reasons openly.
One of the biggest advantages of working with EM Tuition is the Level 5 teaching apprenticeship programme they offer. Opportunities like this are rare, especially with full funding provided. As a teacher, I consistently receive all the support I need. They supply plenty of resources, offer one-to-one meetings, and regularly check in to see if we need anything.
I highly recommend EM Tuition to any teacher looking for a supportive, fair, and professional workplace. I have been with EM since the beginning, and even though I left for a short period during Covid, that time away helped me appreciate their value even more.

Unreliable dishonest and the level of teaching is appalling which I complained many times but they dont care.
They dont even have the basic medical training which is dangerous for the vunerable.

I have been working in Education for over 30 years. 13 years primary and more recently as a Maths Teacher at a Secondary School in Essex for over 17 years. A lot of things changed when Academies took over state schools. Truly caring about students was replaced with cheap staff and unnecessary paperwork rather that actually doing the job good teachers want to do which is to teach and give every child the education they deserve.,
I decided to apply to EM tuition as a Tutor and I can honestly say that during my interview I got a very strong sense that these people actually really care about the students they support.
I have now been working for them since April. This is what education should always look like. Supportive, Nurturing and allowing there tutors to use skills and proven methods to gain trust, respect and ultimately give these very vulnerable students to chances in life both academically and socially that they deserve. EM tuition truly care for their staff, and their students. I highly recommend them.

I have worked with EM Tuition for a few years now and it is genuinely the best company I have worked for. I was asked to write a review about EM Tuition. I worked for them when a tutor needed replacing in a secondary school in London in 2021. I think it was for 3-4 days. My opinion is that this company is very unreliable. Doing my freelancing for a while, the best way is not to put all your eggs in one basket. Agencies are advertising for tutors when they have more students coming in than the tutors they have. However, they will drop the tutors as the students find another school setting. Agencies do not worried about dropping you because they just find another tutor. The one thing they forget that is hard to replace a tutor who is actually a qualified teacher. Do I recommend this agency? No, I do not. Do not waste your time. Then the agency replied to my review on their website saying that I never worked for them. Really? 26/07/2021 Eden Park High School London, creative writing tuition, agent was Tia. Got my e-mails to prove it. And I got paid as well. Maybe another tutor substituted their job. I do not recommend EM because they are not telling the truth.
