We spent well over a year researching motorhomes, travelling to trade shows, walking through display vans, and comparing brands before making a decision. We actually found EmuRV by pure accident, and we’re very glad we did. They might be a smaller company, but they have very big hearts.
From day one, Gary and Marty were patient, honest, and generous with their time. They walked us through the entire process, explained our options clearly, and never made us feel rushed. We’ve previously owned a larger Jayco motorhome, and the step up in quality with EmuRV is obvious. The attention to detail, fit and finish, and overall build standard really stand out.
We looked closely at competing brands, but what became clear is that many of them advertise a base price that doesn’t include much. By the time you add the essentials, the number climbs quickly. With EmuRV, what you see is genuinely what you get. The inclusions are strong from the start. For our build, we only upgraded the suspension for extra comfort, increased the battery and solar capacity for more off-grid capability, and added a bullbar and driving lights because we travel extensively around Australia.
What really cemented our confidence in EmuRV was the after-sales support. On a recent trip across Australia, our fridge started struggling to maintain temperature. We contacted the team through their website and, working together, identified an authorised Thetford service centre along our route. Because we followed the process, a replacement fridge was sent directly to the service centre and swapped out under warranty. No drama, no long trip back to the factory. It was handled smoothly while we were halfway across the country.
That level of support matters when you are travelling long distances. We feel backed by a team that genuinely cares about their customers, not just the sale.
