I just passed with enable driving school and i honestly couldn’t recommend them enough! I really struggled with driving anxiety and both Stephen and Paul were absolutely amazing at helping me through it. Such a lovely team of people :)

A friend referred me to Enable Driving School in Dumfries ,at this time I was so confused about where exactly I could get adequate lessons and support to pass my driving test. Thanks to this great team (Paul,Steven and Christina),for their maximum support and encouragement.I am happy I passed my practical Driving Test excellently. I really thought I would never learn to drive but here I am now, a passed driver!!

I am writing for my husband David, who following a stroke 20 years ago, believed he would never be good enough to drive.

I had previously seen driving instructors that could help those with physical disabilities, but not those with mental health issues.

Last year I contacted Enable. Paul was happy to work with David.

Paul is very calm, he has great patience, understanding, and a very special approach to those with mental health issues.

Paul helped David overcome his low confidence, low self esteem and negative thoughts.

Today David passed his Driving Test. This is a fantastic achievement, and would not have been possible without Paul and Enable.

When I started learning to drive with Enable in September last year, my confidence was very low and I doubted whether I would be able to pass a test. Fast forward to today and I've passed! I want to say that Paul, Stephen and Christina have all been great with me, but especially Stephen, who is a great instructor who always believed in me and for that I am so grateful. Would recommend Enable to anyone looking to learn 100%.

Paul was my instructor. I drove in the US, on the other side of the street and couldn’t get a grip on UK road placement or the need for roundabouts. I was a hot mess, frustrated! I couldn’t let go of my old ways. Paul’s tendency is seeing us as individuals, each having our own ways of learning. He patiently adapts his teaching modalities to match the student and doesn’t give up. He tried 1001 ways with me.
Things I’ve learned from his lessons, I can apply to my life in general like…chill out, stop overthinking, stay in the present. Of course a 5 star review, no question.

I had undertaken to have some refresher driving lessons as due to an amputation and related health issues I have been unable to drive for over two years. Paul, who is the senior instructor from Enable Driving School collected me from home for a two hour lesson. Paul is utterly dedicated to helping disabled people with a huge range of disabilities get back behind the wheel. I felt my own confidence rise as soon as we set off and ended up thoroughly enjoying my lesson with this remarkable person whose aim in life is to help those less physcially able to help themselve. Paul deserves some form of offical recognition for his work. He is not driven (no pun intended) by money informing me at the conclusion of my lesson that he did not need to see me again unless for some reason I got back in touch, I was quite prepared to sign up for half a dozen more lesson. I cannot reccomend Enable Driving School highly enough.

After learning with Enable for around a year, I have finally passed my driving test! So pleased with the guys, couldn't do it without you. I recommend enable for anyone and everyone, including those who might not be as able as the average joe. Thank you Paul, Stephen and Christina, you're all amazing people!

Stephen was amazing, professional and made you feel at ease when driving. Christina was always really good at communication and went out her way to support when booking lessons.

Paul, my instructor, knows the psychology of learners. He is calm and homely. His presence dispenses undue tensions.
