Fantastic trip to India!
We had such a great first time experience with Enchanting Travels. We had a trip to India planned by joining friends for two weeks of their 3.5 month vacation in India and Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, they had to cancel our leg due to sickness so we had to pivot. We are so glad to have connected with Anita! We received other quotes, but why we went with Enchanting Travels is Anita took the time to ask us questions and really listen to our traveling style. She put together an itinerary that was even better than our original plan!
This was our first custom trip and having EVERYTHING handled for us was fantastic! There are so many things we liked but here are a few:
-The app and being able to clearly see all of our documents and plans of each day in detail.
-Having a contact in India (shout out to Vipra!) who we got to meet and then basically What's App chatted with questions during the trip. She even called us when we didn't realize our boarding gate changed and we almost missed our plane.
-Having everything handled for us including the inter-India flights.
-All the staff Enchanting Travels contracted were excellent! From the person who would find us in the airport, to all of the local guides and amazing drivers. We never felt unsafe even though driving in India was crazy to say the least.
-We traveled to six locations and all the hotels were excellent, despite our short lead time of the trip and it firmly being wedding season in India. All the breakfasts (included) were fantastic and we had no issues with eating fresh fruit/vegetables.
-The guides were also great about giving lunch/dinner recommendations, so we felt safe with all of our food choices. We would have loved to eat street food but India was not the place for it.
-Having flexibility of the itinerary. We were always reminded that it's OUR trip so if we wanted to start the day later or change or add something, we could!
I just can't say enough how great our experience was in India and feel like Enchanting Travels was the reason why.

Warm, personalized planning, great support while travelling.
This was my fifth trip planned with Enchanting Travels. They always take the time up front to learn more about our hopes for the upcoming trip, get a good read on our fitness level, what kind of pace we like, and what activities and tours we enjoy. Their knowledge of each place we've been has ensured that we get a great sense of our destination. I love the fact that the drivers, guides, and tours lined up for us are always high quality and guides are knowledgeable on how to make the best use of our time, pre-purchasing tickets so we don't waste time in lines. They put us in unique hotels that offer exceptional warmth and service. The few times we've experiences some kind of minor problem, their on the ground tour manager has been able to solve the problem for us so we don't miss a beat. I feel more confident travelling to far away places knowing ET has my back. With ET you can be independent, but you are not alone. Our tour manager was always just a text away. The tour managers seem sincerely invested in us having a good experience.
