Me and my partner got in touch with this company to do an end of tenancy clean on our property. We tried to enquire what it involved and tried discussing with them what it would include. We were told "we do a full clean of the house top to bottom for £190". So we agreed to this.
What a scam artist. When he arrived at our property to do the clean - which was two days before the tenant moved in, he rang us to tell us the clean would be more. He said he would have to charge an extra £30 to clean the conservatory, an extra £15 for the fridge, an extra £10 because the fridge freezer was dirty (YEAH I KNOW - GOD FORBID A CLEANER HAVING TO CLEAN SOMETHING DIRTY), and then extra to clean the blinds. Because it was so close to the tenant moving in, we had no choice but to pay the extra - which they demand before they start cleaning.
They level to which they then proceeded to clean the place was poor. There was cobwebs, dust and marks everywhere, and they failed to clean the blind. We then told him that it was unacceptable and he needed to do a proper job, said he couldnt come back until the evening after the tenants were due to move in. So we ended up having to pay for another cleaner to go over the property and do it properly. That cost us another £150.
We asked this guy for a refund, and he has obviously refused.
Avoid this company at all costs.
