Tried numerous times to connect my energizer smart bulbs to the energizer connect app. The app is useless cant fina any devices and when it does find them it doesnt connect.
This is an energizer app designed to connect to energizer smart products and it doesnt even work.
Ended up downloading the tuya app and it connected to my energizer bulb instantly.
It says a lot when a 3rd party app connects to your devices when the app literally made to connect to their own devices doesnt work.

If anyone else has the same issue, download the tuya app.

Stay away from Energizer flashlights and their Lithium batteries! The latter are frightfully expensive given their short performance-life (a few hours at most) and Energizer's excuses for poor battery performance are ridiculous. You buy the batteries at the store, store them in the kitchen drawer for a couple of weeks in a controlled climate and, after insertion, MAY be lucky to derive a few hours of light. A complete rip-off.

While my son was playing with his toy, I noticed smoke coming from the device. I immediately opened the back of the toy and discovered that the rechargeable Energizer battery I had just installed had caught on fire. I purchased two packs of these batteries and had only opened one at the time of the incident.

Please note that my son has a disability, and this situation could have been significantly worse had I not reacted as quickly as I did. The battery became so hot that it burned my hand, and the smoke was intensifying rapidly. I threw the burning battery outside into the snow to prevent further damage or injury.

At this time, I have 3 of the 4 batteries remaining, as the defective one had to be discarded immediately for safety reasons.

This is an extremely concerning product failure, and I am requesting an urgent investigation into this matter. A battery catching fire poses a severe risk, especially to children, and I want to ensure no other family experiences this.

Energizer Customer Service is Garbage and they refuse to take responsibility

I was under the impression that this was still a good company. Their product has no directions on the package, I only ask a simple question on the chat and got no help. They just want all my personal information so they can solicit me, but won’t tell me how long to charge the flashlight without paying five dollars for their just answer program. I’m very disappointed. It’s not a hard thing to answer and I don’t need to pay five dollars for basic information that should be on the package. This is ridiculous and they are no help with their customer service.

Worst batteries and products.
Bought this for my car keys, and when opened to use it did not work and had no charge in it. Even though its expiry is after 10 years.

Energizer are the WORST!

I too would give - Minus stars on here if it were possible.

I have purchased several of their solar lights during August & NONE of them WORK any longer! They are not cheap & I wish I had read feedbacks on here first!
They haven't had the decency to respond to any of the complaints posted here either. 92% are complaints! imagine? How is the company still trading?
I shall be contacting the CEO & will update if successful in any feedback or results.

Energizer has been the battery company competing with Duracell. However, recently they made the bad design decision of packaging model 675 batteries. How? You need to use a scissors to cut open the package, all because some poor kid swallowed a battery. Just because one or two kids swallowed a battery doesn't mean all of your customers will. If the kid is having issues of any sort, then help him/her. Don't penalize the rest of us because of the few poor souls. If a kid wants to swallow a battery, they will do it regardless of whatever design of packaging. Changing packaging won't stop this from happening again. Putting person in charge of them will help, though.

Have purchased their batteries and chargers over many years but won’t be purchasing from this awful company ever again and wish that I hadn’t spent my money on them. They have appalling customer service and won’t accept liability for faulty products. They ask you to do unnecessary things to stall you and waste your time, probably in the hope that you will stop trying.

Doorbell simply wouldn't pair with the press button. Don't buy.

i buy 10 times 9 V Alkaline Battery, and it is working great. All my devices working long time.

15 year lifespan - only lasted 4 months
15,000 hour last - only 4 months of night time from Feb until may then decides to blow. Had it in a small lamp to read at night.

Trying to pair the Energizer Floodlight with my phone.
Three people, including an electrician. I put in my WiFi password, yes it was on 2.4, 10 times. Tried both apps, on the WiFi, on Bluetooth. Taking it back to the shop. What a waste of time and energy.

I have a video doorbell that won't work with the app that has been suggested. It is an older model but there is no reason why it shouldn't stil work. No doorbell is visible on the app and there seems to be some software issue. I have contacted energizer and they keep passing me from one country's customer service to another. All denying that it is their responsibility! Terrible company! Can somebody get back to me and let me know how I can make this camera work with an app that does work! Pioneers of technology! More like a complete disaster!

Absolutely crap.extremely complex operation to set up a smart bulb looking for me to change Internet from 5ghs to 2.4ghs far to complicated for something that should be simple. Absolutely avoid far better and easier bulb and products on the market.

Recently bought some smart light bulbs and a couple of smart plugs, having used the TCP brand in the past (I have recently changed my broadband provider and have found it impossible to reconnect the TCP smart devices). It was incredibly easy to connect all the Energizer devices and to use them with Alexa - all I really had to do was power them up and they were instantly found and installed.

Very pleased and will be purchasing more from this brand.
UPDATE MAY 2025. They have stopped working with Alexa. Judging by many of the reviews here on Trustpilot, this seems to be an increasing problem and is highly inconvenient! ENERGIZER need to get this issue sorted! In the meantime, don’t buy them!
UPDATE 27th MAY 2025. They are now working well with Alexa again. Hopefully this will continue!

Worst batteries I've ever used, bought 3 boxes of 16 before Xmas, used 4 in my 2 blink doorbell cameras and after 2 days it said low battery, 2 in my toothbrush and after 3 days it's not working. I usually get the cheap readycell batteries from home bargains and they last like a month in my doorbells and a cpl of weeks in my toothbrush. Absolute waste of money 🤬

Energizer Smart Wifi Indoor/Outdoor Camera E0P1-1001-BLK. My aunt gifted me 2 of these that she bought off QVC. After about 2 weeks, 1 of the cameras stopped working. I tried it in different fixtures with the same result. I also put the second camera in the fixture and it's worked just fine for 2 months now. I contacted Energizer customer support several times about this issue, gave them all the details and eventually had my RMA request rejected because they said my fixture must have "low power." I contacted them several more times, explaining that their excuse was blatantly ridiculous, but they just gave me the run-around. The last person I talked to basically said, "Tough sh!t." So, this company clearly doesn't care about the customers that buy their products.

The 2000 lumes flashlight is terrible! If it sits for a while the battery will go dead. The USB chord may be the problem for charging , but they won’t replace it.

the people who say my batteries don't work wamp wamp get them at Walmart or just don't get them at all
