charged more than on the meter tariff display, after complaining they changed the meter display again to the wrong amount costing me a 25% rise over a year.
it only came to light when i registered for the on line account.
Basically its fraud on there part, as the meter display reads 21 pence a day standing charge, while the online dash board states 27.47 pence. Meter Unit price display reads 17.50 pence whilst dash board says 18.417 per KW.
How to get in to debt thanks to RH Energy
Their website is not the most helpful I dont know why you need your 16 digit specific ID number for each bill... and your account number wont do.
It's taking me 4 days and all my talk time to try and just quit! And it's still not happening lol I definitely advise NOT TO JOIN THIS COMPANY

Diabolical, shambolic, useless!
Moved into independant living flat run by Nottingham City Council where the meters are on Robin Hood Energy. Massive debt on the meter and on emergency credit. Was sent a card that was supposed to zero the meter. Instructions were to wait for the beep, remove the card, take it to the shops and put money on the card to put in the meter. I put a fiver on the card. Inserted the card into the meter to find that the meter still had the debt and had used MY money to reduce the debt and leave the meter on emergency credit.
Phoned them up. Said they'd send another card to wipe the meter and yet another with £10 on it (£5 owed and £5 for the inconvenience). Both cards cam and they were identicle. Nothing to distingwuish one from the other.
Wile writing this review I was waiting for robin hood to answer - Tried to explain but GOT THE PHONE PUT DOWN ON ME!!!!!
back to the cards. The one with the £10 on it simply was used to reduce someone elses debt!
the other did nothing!
I am absolutely livid and waiting for robin hood to pick up again.
Absolutely disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!
Update - Spoke to another person and had to tell the entire situation again. Have wasted lots of minutes on robbing hood energy. Was told will get a call back within half hour, but ain't holding my breath.
Update.... So much for getting a call back within half hour. So much for looking after the vulnerable. Livid!

On phoning up to discuss payment and bills in my experience whoever I have spoken to has always been nice and polite and helpful.Very useful that they have a landline to contact them on other than a number with options.I have lived in Nottingham all my life and I do like the name of this company : )
Absolutely horrible company, don't ever use them. Multiple issues, had a problem with suddenly my smart meter showing I'm using £5 a day! I'm cutrntly switch g to universal credit so have zero money coming in. I ring up on monday at 9 speak to lovely man who suggests that he will look into it as no energy spikes, and due to having 66p on the emergency look I to put to g credit on The meter as there is clearly problem. Ring back at 2pm to speak to an awful man who got angry at me when I asked for manger and refused to put me through, refused to any credit on the meter even though I never asked for that and said he had no idea how long it would take to rectify the problem though I have a 4 week premature baby at the property. Took RINGING the CAB To try and sort the problem. They told them they rang me and left a message low and behold I did miss a call due to sort g the baby but no voicemail sent. Ran out of electricity 5 minutes ago. Offices closed as no one rang me back again or answered the cab email! No way to sterilise baby's bottles. All because the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. No one cares that obviously there is a problem with meter billing to fast and the baby suffers!! Run away people
Horrendous experience, left them 18months ago, received a payment demand however no bill or break down, have been trying to resolve for over a year sent so many emails to requested a bill as I would have paid if I knew was owed! After over a year they provided a bill to a credit collecting company and still not had a single response to my emails and now the given bill is over a year after leaving which I believe counts as back-billing, tried to discuss with them and shock still no response even though they’ve been informed I’m furloughed, pregnant and becoming increasingly stressed! Don’t touch them with a barge pole, I disliked them before I left never mind now!
AWFUL. Avoid at all costs.
Robin Hood Energy is a White Label company: i.e. they do not supply your property. Ebico does. They do the "packaging" or "selling" on their behalf.
As a result they successfully took my bank details on two separate occasions; only to result in me having to deal with Ebico in finality.
Communication comes in 24hr spurts. They have no issue taking your money as the entire process is automated and can be done over the phone, however i find it ironic how speaking to a human is the only function not accessible from their phone line.
The automated system is frustrating and anachronistic. Designed to place all liability on the customer with little to no assistance from company representatives.
God forbid you are trying to switch provider: EDF have requested control over our account on three separate occasions (as confirmed over the phone - which so demonstrates the benefits of facilitating communication) however this was rejected.
You guessed it: no communication whatsoever. No explanation. Nothing. Prising useful information out of customer services has been an absolute nightmare. Three days of frictive communication and we still have not been provided details as to how to facilitate a switch.
Don't waste your time.
Take care.

Well named robber. A very troublesome supplier. Tried to get rid of them by switching to Ebico...but guess what...Ebico will ask you to pay their bills by submitting payments to ROBIN HOOD!!!
Horrible people.

Moved to RH about 18 months but following a few years with Together Energy I was reluctant to give a positive review sooner. However, I have found them to provide good customer service; a reliable website and polite and efective staff.

I found Robin Hood easy to deal with and generally quietly competent. My only slight niggle was when I started I got a few emails with impossible instructions (their system didn't realize I was on a Smart Meter, so it sent the default instructions for old fashioned meter), and it was a bit of a pain to find out what to actually do. But since I've been set up they've been absolutely fine

I have given 1 star but they do not deserve even that. I have noticed just like myself that other people are being charged for bills that are over two years old. Without going through the whole debacle of dealing with them (which believe me is a waste of your time) they are a complete bunch of liars and fraudsters, you see, the company are in debt to the tune of £9 Million pounds and just like a previous comment, they do steal from the poor and vulnerable to pay this debt off. If you go on wen comparison sites i STRONGLY suggest you stay away from ibico and its parent company "robin hood energy". Although I have settled their fraudulent debt management bill (CRS) I am still going to pursue the complaint through the Ombudsman to try and stop THESE fraudulent people praying on the vulnerable and poor in our society. This company needs STOPPING. Can't suggest how to deal with these people because they have a tax payer funded council legal department behind them. I suggest if a number of people forward their complaints to OF GEM, they may listen and take stock of whats going on. P.S I am absolutely convinced the positive comments are company members hiding their fraudulent activities.
IT SHOULD BE CALLED ROBBING SCAMMERS ENERGY!
Seems like none of them knows what they are doing backdating bills from 2 years ago! Fraudsters!
P.S. Do not leave you comments under here about emailing customer service because your customer service is a JOKE!!!!!!!!
EDIT: NOTHING STILL HAS BEEN SORTED. EXCEPT THEM CHARGING ME FROM 2017 NOW! LOL WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!
DO NOT GO WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Left Robin Hood but have returned. Robin Hood - much better value and always told of a better deal if there was one.

Moving forward to give positive feedback you guys need someone on the phone. Cutting costs on customer service is throwing away tomorrow's revenue.

I have never had a refund in the middle of the year. You have slashed my monthly payment to half its size. In my 20 years with the big " boys" I have never had anything like it plus the fact that I had to ask them for my surplus money but they have refused me.
I have told several friends and the ones who followed my advice are extremely pleased with Robin Hood.
I wish you great success as you deservedly earn it. Honesty always gets rewarded. Thank you so much. Ann Deans

Changed my bad review after some talk. My variable rate still, and they are going to charge me every 3 months. Looks like the problem was solved.
