Facebook Magazine SCAM!
I'd give zero stars if I could. England Explore is the website attached to the magazines The Anglophile and British Castles. My Facebook feed was full of ads offering a trial digital subscription to these two magazines. The subjects interested me, so I subscribed. They charged my card in seconds but I got nothing in return. No e-mail acknowledgement, no links, not a peep back. That was in October 2025. I tried contacting the publisher and was completely ignored. The trial was only $1 though so I wrote it off as a learning experience. Today I found they charged me $47 for an automatic renewal. Again, there is no way to contact the publisher. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company, posted on their continuing ads that they are a scam, and writing this here now on Trustpilot hoping I can save some unsuspecting person from this nightmare.
